F1 - 2022 Season

Shame they put hards on Hamilton, maybe they will be stronger at the end of the race... need verstappen and leclerc to fight each other.

Hard to look past Verstappen winning still, looks much quicker than leclerc

Not sure it matters, verstappen will have very easy overtake with DRS. Perez is lapping half a second faster than Hamilton. Don't think tyre deg is going to be a factor.
A faster car with quicker tyres before DRS means he has very little chance. Lewis has nothing to lose, so he should race as hard as he can.

EDIT: no chance, sadly.

Red Bull Rocketship sails aways again

Hamilton won't get a better chance to win a race this season, but couldn't get the job done

The new rules have REALLY favoured the Red Bull philosophy this season. Whereas in previous seasons having a fast car on the straight would have meant it was difficult to actually follow and wash out at the front, this season with the easier to follow aero that isn't nearly as much of an issue, so not only is it 20kmph faster but there is hardly any drawback to this design philosophy.

It's a brilliant car, no doubt - with a brilliant driver at the wheel.

Great drive from Hamilton. Unless verstappen has an issue then no one is beating that Red Bull atm.

Personally I think he's lost a bit, and he didn't do enough to defend his position at the end. And it's not the first time, either - he's regularly been unable to defend his position as well as he should.
Made quite a few mistakes during the last stint too, which made it easier for Max to catch him. Compare this year to last year when the positions were pretty much reversed, and Max was flawless last year which earned him that important win.
