I think that would have been harsh. Got himself there on merit so it's up to Norris to beat him rather than be given the place on the off-chance he could have caught Verstappen.

Don't think it would have been wise to crap on Piastri like that for 1 or 2 extra points from a sprint race when looking at the long term picture.

For sure it would have been harsh but they have arguably the fastest car at the moment and aren't quite maximising it for a variety of reasons.

You have a point with regards to the points being limited for the sprint

Yeah I think Norris has come out and admitted he's made a couple of slight errors that have cost them further down the track. They're not consistently at the levels of RB with the pit-stops either, probably nowhere near when you get down into the tenths / hundredths.

Disgraceful behavior from the later arriving drivers, the yellows would have been waved for a good 15 seconds before they arrived on scene, they appear to be going more or less race pace.

Loss of license for these weekend racer playboys.

It is negligence from the drivers because the yellow is clear as day, nevertheless they continue at speed.

In terms of the F1 today, I am expecting another snooze fest, with Max comfortably winning at RB's home circuit. I hope I am wrong.

Fingers crossed, however I expect him to be clearly ahead by the first corner. All I want is an exciting and competitive race across the entire field to engage us.

I grew up watching F1 with my ol' man and it is full of fond memories, yet whenever I try and get my own son to watch it with me it's hard to get him enthusiastic.

MotoGP, BTCC or even F2 and he loves it... F1 though.
