I'm not going to change my opinion on the guy who by all accounts is being feted by some of us just for doing what we pay him for.
If I'm cynical I'd liken him to one of the great many who are struck by the "Gatwick Phenomenon", those who miraculously recover from impediments granting them favourable treatment on an aircraft, once into the terminal.
End of contract looming, needs a new club, let's put on a show eh?

He's a tit mate, dont thin anyone doubt that but he's never been a bad footballer. If he had been fit for evern half of this season we'd have been safe. Not because he's some Makelele reborn clone, but because he plays a role that nobody else in the squad does. He helped balance us on Saturday and someone like a Doucoure, who has been shocking of late, and I mean Shocking would benefit massively being able to drive forward knowing we have an anchor.

He's a complete melt is Fabian Delph, but he's a decent footballer. Just made out of uncooked spaghetti and playdough.

Think we were watching different games tonight lad, he basically played like a third centreback, missed the opportunity to turn forward with the ball about 5 times at least, constantly 1-2ing with Mina

Done me head in, lucky for him Allan had a worse game

There's an argument you could make that says him and Allan did alright because they didn't do much wrong, but for me they completely surrendered the midfield.

For their goal and several attacks in the first half he lost his runners and didnt know what he was doing.

2nd half be looked better but nowhere near the Leicester lads for quality.
 
Was the better of our two CMs tonight but he's still a poo-head whom I can't wait to see gone, he's a character we desperately need out of the dressing room. With the amount of money he's had off us these past 3 years no one should be praising him for turning up for a couple of games here and there and putting in C-grade performances.

The midfield is such a mess, possibly even more than the defence is. Major surgery required
