Id like the club to acknowledge or clarify it given the scope of reporting.

Im just playing devils advocate though, say it happened and DBB as CEO said, she didn’t want to report to try and convey unity and protect the reputation of the club - she has that right as a citizen, the club can’t force her. Not saying that happened, but not impossible either.

I agree though - the club is damned if they do or don’t hear, but I think clarity is needed.

Also I have seen at least 3 people who claim to sit in the area of the Directors box (lucky them) all say that she got up and and just walked off as normal, one guy says he actually walked out chatting with her and was prepared to repeat this to Police or anyone else.

It’s clearly strategic and aided by the same media people who they have turned to in the past. If their best defence is a credibility attack on football supporters then that should tell you something is very wrong at the club.

All the fan groups should collectively contact the club expressing their concerns over the safety of board members, and ask for any evidence of this event to be shared with supporters so we can weed out this abhorrent individual (assuming they exist). Then wait several decades for a response.

It’s lack of trust and , in my opinion , if they’d been told by them not to attend they’d have spelt It out “on police advice we’re not attending “ . What they have done is hint that it’s police advice but reading between the lines it looks like they’ve spoke to them then been ‘advised’ by their own security .

I know people who’ve been ejected and nicked for all manner of things at football , there have been blues charged over gestures and abusive language. The idea that a board member can be assaulted and the matter be unreported for nearly a fortnight and the alleged perpetrator sneak off facing zero repercussions from the police or the club and presumably come back to their seat for yesterday’s game is not just ridiculous it’s contemptible.

Fair point on the phones mate. It’s why the club need to clarify I think, someone will have talked to Steward, you’ll know lads near the directors box, I’ve heard it happened in the ground and then car park, it’s all subjective at the moment and nawing away at unity, the club or Feds really need to clarify.

Spoke to someone myself and heard exactly the same
