Love how because we haven't signed a Mata-type player people are saying he's done nothing for the club lol some fans are obsessed with transfers.

In their defence, very little tangible evidence of progress has happened behind the scenes and the transfer window has been a shocker so far. Doesn't mean things are not in progress or that it won't come good, and patience is clearly required, but I can see the obsession with wanting more from a transfer window in which we sold a player for nearly 50m and supposedly started with money to spend on players before hand.Love how because we haven't signed a Mata-type player people are saying he's done nothing for the club lol some fans are obsessed with transfers.

I want more from the transfer window but seen many people say things like "no evidence of financial clout" completely disregarding him wiping our debts out.
There has yet to be a single news report stating that he has paid off our debts. You would expect something like that to be reported. It would also be notified in Companies House documentation, the type of thing that finds it way onto online forums, but we have seen no sign of this at all.
That'll be the beak mate.I have actual insomnia mate. I hate it.
There's been no reporting in the press because they've not been briefed.
There's also no requirement to inform Companies House of the satisfaction of a charge.
Everton have given charges to Vibrac (and it's later variations) and reported them on 19 August 2015, 18 September 2014, 13 August 2013 and deeds of assignment (against broadcasting revenues) on 8th August 2012 and 11th August 2011.
It's fairlt safe to assume that if we were to borrow similarly this year a charge would appear around now. So far nothing - but then I'm not expecting anything neither.
That stuff is normally detailed within Companies House records though, the amount of debt, the removal of charges, no? I can remember us satisfying a number of charges last season and such details being posted on to the Internet amidst takeover rumours. Our debt isn't just to Vibrac either, we've had a circa 40 million pound debt to the Prudential or whoever it was ever since the NTL deal went west. I find it hard to believe that the club are keeping the removal of what has been a troublesome debt over the years a secret, to be honest.

Agreed. I'm very sceptical on this issue. Very unusual not to have reported anything to companies house. Will be very interesting when the next accounts come out.
Alright Tom Jones. With respect, it is not unusual at all. There is no requirement to do so.

The Prudential/AIB loan was £30 million originally, from memory now around £20 million in last accounts.
According to my sources that has been repaid. This will be reported to shareholders at the next shareholder meeting or in the report and accounts whichever comes first.
