I want more from the transfer window but seen many people say things like "no evidence of financial clout" completely disregarding him wiping our debts out.

I suspect the Sky deal would of done that on its own quite easily..

If he wiped our debt then we should have both the Stones and Sky deals money to spend still - http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...eague-clubs-earn-season-How-new-TV-deal-spent - Average of 81m a season to clubs + overseas TV rights to add + Stones = an Aston Villa player and a random keeper from Fulham that got sent out on loan last season so far.
Not exactly being fast and loose with the cash and fully worthy of rumblings of discontent tbh...

Especially now, if ever there was a time to spend and increase the squad its now...

Next year will be insane and being on the TV as a strong club will be more important than ever for us and everyone else, we need to be competitive. So far the signs are not good.

Understand all that but also what we need is a brand new modern stadium on the waterfront if poss to raise the image of the club that is also important in attracting players and sponsors.

Image is good, stadium is good, quality squad is essential. I'd rather watch a quality team at Goodison than a load of dross kicking around in a big stadium. This is the first since the CL season that would really, really make a difference and would be a massively missed opportunity if we didn't greatly improve our squad.

Instead we are in danger of having our worst transfer window in a long, long time, despite having the most amount of available money ever. Its pretty poor so far.

That being said, I am in no way against Moshi, can't wait to see what the future holds, but so far its been very anticlimactic imo and I can fully understand why people are getting annoyed at none of the vast stacks of cash we are sitting on being spent on improving what actually matters... Our football team.

Williams? And now Bolasie...

How is it clear exactly .
The club have said they were trying to buy a couple of marquee signings at the start of the window. Those signings didn't come off .. Not through lack of intent or desire or cash on the clubs part. All of those signings could and would have happened regardless of Stones leaving. I have no doubt if Stones had asked to state would.

When did the club say that? There were reports of a bid for Witsel, but those reports didn't come from the club unless I missed the announcement. Everton have said very little...common practice amongst all Premier League clubs. 99.9% of reports have been media or social media conjecture. I'm happy to be proved wrong, but we don't usually hear from the club until a medical is about to happen, or even later !!

Glad that now Stones has been sold young Silent Mo has been able to open the war chest enough to get some tosh in

Moshiri also says BK is relentlessly pushing things forward with my total support for him, Steve Walsh and RK.
Incidentally this is categorical evidence of what was obvious all along. BK is strongly involved in transfer negotiations.
