It's not that he shouldn't be questioned, but why should he be questioned after 6 months. So far he has dismissed a failing manager and his team and replaced him with a highly sought after young manager and DoF. In the mean time he is slowly improving the playing staff and has put the blocks on a Stadium move that was destined to fail anyway, whilst exploring new options, one being the home we all want.

What is it you want him to tell you?
I'm not questioning him. As far as I know he's making headway on the most important issue facing the club - the stadium.

My only wish in the short term is that he gives as in depth an interview as he can give, which is conspicuous by its absence for a man who's got this much power and control over a famous football club.

Yes Dave, thats why Kenwright was allowed to remain in charge for 16 years.

Your going to look very silly at the end of this window.

Prepare yourself.
He wasn't allowed it though. The pressure in the end told and he simply had to stand aside. In any case, there is a massive difference between BK and PJ. The former was incompetent, the latter malevolent.

Hahahahahaha, you think Bill sold up due to pressure?

He had clowns with cakes demanding he leave and he didnt wilt, he sold when he wanted and to somebody thats allowed him to hold onto his train set.

I understand why you would want that but I don't think it really matters personally. Kenwright was never away from the cameras when he initially bought the club, however all them words in hindsight meant nothing. I think that first interview he done in the tunnel after the Chelsea game with Kenwright proved he wasn't one for the limelight, he hardly said a word. If in 2 to 3 years time we are still stood still then we can call for answers and change. But for now I am quite happy to enjoy it.

Do you think there hasn't been Moshiris trying to buy Everton in the past 16 years? He sold up last year due to a combination of ill health and the fact he was facing continued pressure concerning investment.

Ancient Chinese proverb: "A sheep has no choice in the jaws of a wolf".

No, there hasnt been any Moshiris, bar the Arabs at City, hes a game changer.

It's nit for my benefit I'm suggesting a big interview mate, it's for his. If in the short term things look iffy (eg a negative net spend or low spend window this summer) then that can cloud the overall view of his tenure he wants to project.

Plenty of people would disagree with that assessment of previous opportunities.

Difference between now and then: back then he desperately wanted to keep his train set; last year he was unable to hang onto it.

How thought mate? There are wealthier owners at other clubs. Unless he is willing to spend a fair chunk of his total wealth other owners are not, how is this possible alone without bringing in other investors?
Or is this part of your belief of Usmanov joining him?
