A simple statement from the club stating that Moshiri only communicates through the club's official channels with regards to Everton would suffice. I agree totally re the club's PR especially in relation to corporate matters.

With respect are you able to shed any detail on why the club was so intent on being serious players and yet acting like under 9s amateur team?

None of this makes any sense. Why would Moshiri text JW "Watch this space", then not sign anyone and pull out of a £30M deal at the last minute....so as not to jeopardise Macca's place? Really?

Either the texts are fake and JW along with everyone else has been totally done, or maybe he's had too many cocktails at Casino Royale and was on his way home via the chippy. Either way, this is very odd.

A very good post mate. Either the money wasn't available (which I don't believe) or we have completely incompetent people working at the club who should not be working another month with us.

Moshiri is going to have to very quickly consider perception. He has to look at how everything is perceived as this will have a massive impact on the supporter base, potential players/agents and the existing staff. We are the laughing stock of football today. The only way to try and repair some of the damage that has been done is to pinpoint who caused the mess and take decisive action. If Kenwright remains on the board of Everton along with Elstone much more than a couple of weeks ultimately it will be hard to keep faith with Moshiri, whether or not money was made available, as that will be the rubber stamp to what has been arguably our worst window ever (and god there is some competition there).

Good post mate but Moshiri is not going to do anything except plod along very slowly with the stadium process which will probably turn out even worse than the deadline day fiasco

Absolute disgraceful comments on this thread, I cannot believe how thick some of you are, you sit around the keyboard in hand, listening to the antichrist of sport, AKA Sky sports and suck up all the crap they spout out.
The alleged twitter says @everton now I do not use these speak any crap that comes to a vacant space in your head but a quick look @everton
shows no sign of any such message.
Moreover, I am of the opinion that many of those who have continually, nothing good to say about Everton should take their keyboard elsewhere.
I have criticised the team on many occasions, but I am delighted with the players we have brought in, the management team and can see the value of Walsh, and believe we are closer to a new stadium than ever.
The problem with wanting Champions league class players is not the desire or the lack of money, but the simple fact we do not play in the Champions league.
Come January we could because of our signings and management team be in the mix for a place.
Remember also that our powder is still dry while others have used.
Rome was not built in a day, and after 20 years of stagnation Everton will not be rebuilt in 4 months and one transfer window.
By the way, I went to the Bolton match and if some of these players are our future, then we can look forward very optimistically.
No point in pointing them most of you will not know who they are.
