Not you in particular I was talking about people in general. Just saying that what we hear is leading to ammo for conspiracy. What one person says to another is usually added to to make it sound better then the initial statement or rumour is distorted more and more as its passed along and becomes totally different.

Whatever is being said does not bother me in the slightest, I am not embarrassed and will not be embarrassed if what sky reported or Jim White said is even true. I will just look to see if we have a stronger team and if we are progressing or attempting to progress and I am satisfied that we are/have. We are supposed to have missed out on about 10-15 targets according to the media and if this is true then we have attempted but failed. At least it wasn;t a 'go with what we have'. I am bored with conspiracies and propaganda on here and just want the next match to come and get back to football.

It,s not going away mate.in fact it appears to be unravelling in the public domain.

Are we debt free? The only "source" we have for that is esk, and it's quite clear he's wrong about most things.

I dont accept this to be honest and i dont like the absolutes of right or wrong, when it comes to people not necessarily The Esk passing on the information, for my money the indications were all about deals we were working on and interest was passed on, the only one i can remember that we were told to expect was Witsel and it fell through.

I think if people are being critical they should really be critical of themselves, you have a choice about how you handle information, you can not beleive it, you can beleive it or you can take it with a pinch of salt. The frustrtion with information being passed on and feeling around it toward certain posters bemuses me. If anyone is gulty of misrepresentation its us and how we choose to accepet information and what we take from it.

Ill listen to the information passed on by any good blue especailly one who never sat on his hands and advocated through the media about the welfare of the club post takeover and in praticular their opinion given the former on their impression of a new regime with praticular interest to their skill sets around said issues, that the rest of us dont have a breeze about.

Why do we always have to have a hate figure, whether its people on here, Mosh, Kenwirght, Elstone, Walsh whoever, adversity and things not working out are a part of life and occasionally it happens, its a test of resiliance not a finger pointing exercise.

Someone at the club told sky we had bid 30m for the player when jim white started his gig. For me that was a deliberate planned move from someone inside of the club as they were panicking at that stage.

This is old Everton old day long taking the piss out of the fan base and they know it.

I blame Kenwright...and Ian Ross...and Keith Wyness too. They're still running the club and that's why it's still clown shoes.

I'm going off what Moshiri said in his own statement. I was surprised as well and thats what I meant by "There's a tendency for many to blame Elstone, when it wasn't that long ago the consensus was he had no involvement in transfers..."

... But then, even Martinez said after Moshiri come in that Kenwright would play the role of transfer conductor;

... All public comment from Everton since March is that Kenwright is a key figure in transfers.

Sure, Elstone is likely to be involved - but it's Moshiri who makes the call.

I appreciate Moshiri is teflon but lets call it as it is.

Says the man categorically stating we are debt free.

Spot on.

But what does it matter if Moshri sent White a text. What does it matter if Sissoko snubbed us or not. Now its making fans believe Moshri has no money and we are really still selling to buy. In other words the 'Everton Project' is BS and Koeman is joining in with the BS despite him stating that was the reason he joined. We need to step back and see who in the media comes up with the better stories and who on GOT can use it as ammo and try to convince the rest of GOT that Moshri is an embarrassment and no better than Kenwright. Question is...how many will fall into the trap.

Why can't the club do this with regards to Jim White tweets??

10:54 30 Aug
Liverpool City Council and Everton have denied claims by the city's mayor that a new stadium for the football club is "closer than it’s ever been".

Joe Anderson wrote on Twitter that the stadium was "closer now than it was last month" and hinted at a location when asked by a site user by using the phrase "the Moore the merrier" - which may be a reference to Bramley Moore dock.

Are you categorically stating that we arent? You like your absolutes, so lets play with them.

I believe we are for a number of reasons, none more so then the clear access to funds we have.
I have no idea, none. I'm pretty sure you have no idea either. And the only person proffering an absolute in this little chat is you, after once again saying it's me who does it. You accept the positive absolutes and reject the negative ones out of hand. That is irrational.

I don't think the blame for Kenwright has come from nowhere. It is widely reported he was involved in transfers and Esk even acknowledged he got involved later in the window. This for me coincides with us looking increasingly disjointed and ultimately not progressing transfers as we had hoped.

This whole window has been a shambles but it would be naïve not to see Kenwrights fingerprints all over it. Somebody was leaking to the local and national press we had 100 million to spend. Likewise they were leaking that we were looking for Marquee signings and to spend like City. It was in too many media outlets and too specific numbers/comments to just be a coincidence.

So you then start to look at who is likely to be doing that? Who is the sort of individual who when getting a bit of money to spend can't think professionally, lets their heart rule their head, starts making stupid statements they can't deliver on, dotes on being centre of attention and wants to make a theatre show of a transfer window? It doesn't seem like Moshiri who appears to me to be a shy, introverted, guarded and professional individual.

This stinks to me of Kenwright wanting to settle old scores with journalists and be seen as the hero. That added an unnecessary pressure to the whole window.

He then looks like he has usurped his way onto the negotiating committee. He's the annoying bloke on a night out who keeps volunteering to do stuff as he thinks he's brilliant yet you all know it will be awful. Moshiri's mistake was caving in to him. You can give him all the money in the world and he still wouldn't be able to deliver any signings and we'd be left begging to take lads who can barely get into West Hams matchday squad as a second striker.

I'm sorry but this entire window stinks of Kenwright and Elstone. They may not be running the club but they just can't take a hint and still exert influence to a detrimental affect. I'm not letting them swan off into the sunset after the continued damage they've caused.
