It's possible, but it still doesn't explain away everything. Sissoko was probably in London, because Spurs bid earlier in the day - but that doesn't mean he wasn't going to fly to Merseyside from London.

....that risk probably applies up to 31st Dec I would have thought. The potential cost of the risk attached to Lukaku getting hurt is enormous.
