Posters not liking 'everyone' on a public forum shocker. Must be nice living in a bubble with like minded people who share your views, utopia.

There's a difference between not liking or agreeing with everyone, and people who just post utter nonsense and drivel just to get attention.

Claiming a man who has been the majority shareholder in a football club for less than 9 months is a 'fraud' when he has already over seen huge change on and off the pitch at the club, and most importantly the changes made that affect the on-pitch stuff has seen us start the season better than we have for a few years (above the likes of Man Utd) is quite frankly ludicrous and deserves all the lampooning it gets. Some might say that it's actually quite offensive and disrespectful when the club is finally moving forward for first time in years.

Believe you me, we are well aware of certain posters who poison the mood on here at times, as opposed to ones with genuine questions and concerns, since Moshiri (sort of) took control.

Call it a watching brief.

I'm guarded about Moshiri, but this word "fraud" is used like confetti here these days. I'm sure I've used it about Kenwright, but let's face it his inactivity and obfuscation over decades fully warranted the charge. Moshiri I dint think is in that league...not yet anyway.

Fraud this and fraud that. It's ridiculous.

Yep, I wouldn't put BK in as fraud either until evidence to contrary comes to light tbh, but agree with your point totally.

Other than the slightly underwhelming transfer business in the summer (which is an arguable point in itself whether this was Moshiri's fault), I really fail to see what anyone can realistically criticise Moshiri over at this point. I'm not saying we'll all love him forever, and there may well come a time when criticism is warranted, but now certainly isn't that time. The decisions made by the club since he arrived on the scene have all been overwhelmingly for the better and there are a lot of positive signs for the future.

I don't know about that mate, I think there are grounds for being wary in the way he's operated this far. But one transfer window and a putative stadium plan isn't enough to condemn at this stage.

What are these 'grounds for being wary'?

All I see is he got rid of a failing manager and coaching staff (who would've been kept on by Kenwright, who made a very bad deal and had these people under lengthy deals and would not have been able to afford to pay them off like Moshiri did), who it has since been revealed let the players do whatever the hell they liked and there was no discipline at the club. He brought in a quality manager and coaching staff with high standards and disciplines and more than a plan A & B to win a game.

He's overseen the biggest revamp at Goodison Park in 23 years since the Park End was built, spending actual money to do up the ground.

He's quite clearly driving the new stadium agenda, after years of failure and inertia. He's got the club back on board with the council. He and the rest of the entire board very publicly visited what is quite clearly the forerunner in terms of new stadium sites, a site that will generally please virtually every Everton fan if it comes off. It can't be that far away if the entire club board are pulled from all parts of the country/world, along with an American stadium architect, to visit said site along with the Mayor of the city.

I see nothing to be 'wary' about. There lots and lots of other rich people who buy into football clubs and do virtually nothing, and certainly not as much as Moshiri has done in his first 9 months.

Promising to give Everton "all I have" then making a £3m profit in the summer; having absolutely no dialogue with supporters as to why he took over and what his plans are; playing media games over this new stadium situation and thereby following in the foot steps of his predecessor on that score.

That's why I and many others are wary. He'd done nothing at all. Nothing. Balls in his court in January and with his relationship with fans and that stadium. He'll get no free pass off the bulk of the supporters of this club.

Whilst I remain cautiously optimistic I will retain a hefty level of scepticism. I have witnessed too many false dawns to go rushing towards this one with arms spread joyously only to get defacated on again . The transfer window fell short of expectations and much better matched the predictions of the naysayers than the acolytes. Having experienced the many dubious machinations and manoeuvrings of our (still current) chairman , we need something more concrete before we book the street parties. For all that I am hopeful.

Couldn't have put it better myself. Well, I probably could have done but hey I'll not steal your thunder. Well said.

Cheers terry

He made a '£3m profit' because the £30m transfer of Moussa Sissoko collapsed at the last minute (and thankfully so, in hindsight).

What dialogue do you want him to have? People generally didn't (and some still don't) like it when Kenwright showed his face on tv and did his usual spiel.

I think most people prefer actions rather than words and I think you're blatantly ignoring his actions just to be a sceptic. It is okay to acknowledge that some good things have occured under his watch, you know. You don't have to join his fan club or get his name tattooed on your arm, but you can acknowledge he's moved the club forward in his first 9 months as majority shareholder. Saying he's done 'nothing' is just blatantly untrue.

'Balls in his court in January' - So basically you want him to spend loads of money on players in January, just to prove he's committed.

Nobody is talking about 'giving him a free pass', but I think 'the bulk of supporters of this club' can see we're making progress.
