There's a number of people on the business side of the organisation who in my opinion do not warrant their position at the club including Elstone.

I think the question will be answered when Moshiri takes control fully. From what I hear Moshiri is not impressed. The changes within the organisation have certainly been slower than I anticipated nearly 9 months ago, but they will happen - we've had some changes and additions, a couple of senior managers in the commercial and finance department, and Chris Anderson at legal/company secretary but obviously not CEO and head of commerce which is were the changes are most required.
So it's because of kenwrong , Elstone and woods , the three mupeteers that the changes haven't been implemented quicker mate

it's a passive takeover, we see it all the time in business, think of it like the buy-to-let schemes.

- buy business

- ensure it doesn't go down in value (i.e signing Koeman/Walsh and buying players with funds from player sales, all to make sure we stay in the Prem)

- add value to business with a perma-upgrade (renovation or more likely new stadium with 15k more seats, increase per-seat cost to demonstrate increased revenue)

- sit back 2-3 years then sell stake at a sizeable profit.

In theory it's a low-effort (hence the motley crew are kept on) yet high-gain business tactic, but it's no banker for it's reliant on the Prem boom continuing. Still relatively low-risk.

I disagree totally - if that was the case there would have been no need for Kenwright and Co to sell half their holding immediately and agree to sell the rest via an option agreement.

We probably wouldn't have moved stadium but the club could have continued as a mid-table outfit and become highly cash generative for the existing shareholders. I know Earl wanted out ever since Kirkby was knocked back, there was sufficient interest in Everton shares in the last 18 months for him to have exited.

The only sensible strategy for someone coming in like Moshiri would be to have a complete reforming strategy. He could have stayed with his Arsenal shares if he just wanted to be lifted on the Premier League tide.

While making Bill and the cronies very rich. We've been stitched up
In about two more transfer windows that hunch will prove true or false. My guess is that we've seen Earl disappear and Moshiri is the same stamp. A stadium scheme wont prove anything as even BK and Earl got Desperation Kirkby well down the line.

Please explain how we as fans have been 'stitched up', if Bill and his cronies as you say have become very rich(i wish i was as poor as them prior to the takeover) , then that must be because Moshiri has paid above the true value for their shares.
So by implication it is he who has been 'stitched up', unless he has a plan to develop his investment......but hey what does a billionaire know that we on a fans forum cant teach him ?

Pocket all the Sky money

Wonder if Elstone has been touting himself around for work recently? Surely he is aware if Moshiri is less than impressed.

He seemed to have little to do over the summer and nothing at all I believe with Koemans appointment.

Add to that Walsh assuming some of the CEO's football business responsibilities and you wonder what he does day-to-day now!

Harris may have been brought on board primarily in relation to the new stadium and Ryazantsev looks to be involved in financing of same.

It would be great if people of the calibre of Gilvary was still possible for the board.

It would be fascinating too to speculate on the potential Elstone successors, if indeed he is to be replaced in the next 12 months. We badly need that appointment to be someone with the required expertise, vision, and gravitas to take us forward commercially and drive the stadium project with Moshiri.

I assume Bill will stay come what may now, he simply will not give up his train set.
