So Moshiri is back to being a fraud again?

The USM deal and interest free loan have bought him some time, but let's be honest with ourselves - unless a transfer miracle happens over the next few days, his first two windows at Goodison have been, at best and being generous, underwhelming.

I can sort of excuse it given our season was dead in December anyway, so there's little point overpaying for players in January when it would make no real difference, but he really has to hit the summer transfer window running IMO.

Underwhelming because people believed we had 150m to spend in the summer?

This really. I too can see justifiable reasons for January being a difficult month to do transfers, and we can put last summer down to teething problems and the effect of successive bottom-half finishes. That's the theory anyway.

I wouldn't describe myself as disappointed with progress, pragmatic perhaps, but if there was/is any modicum of truth to the sort of flashiness we were expecting last summer, then it must materialise next.

Money talks in football, as does a willingness to spend it. It's amazing the amount of hurdles and problems money can overcome, in life and in football.

I think there is an acceptance that there will be at best, gradual, rather than earth-shattering change but I find that I am always finding reasons to excuse Everton, both now and pre-Moshiri. There comes a time when you simply have to walk the walk and for transfers/team strengthening, that time is coming in the summer. Failure or an underwhelming window then I think will cast a large shadow over what Moshiri aims to do here.

Not really, since Moshiri initially loaned the club £80m, interest free, to clear the bank loans which the club's revenue was being used to pay off.

He's allowed revenue streams to be funnelled into where they should have really been going. He's also allowed us to at least have a steady footing much more than our previous chairman had achieved. He's also creating us new revenue streams and hopefully ending some of the commercial deals that have limited our potential.

I would love to know when we next have a chance to buy back Finch Farm and if this is something he would look at doing, I can't see why not, it's a substantial asset and would increase the worth of his shares.

Can anybody shine some light on this, we had a chance 1/2 years ago if my memory serves me, also wasn't it every 5 years?

Bold bit I have to take issue with. We simply haven't spent "money" as in what you'd call invested money - we've spent less than the TV money thus far in transfers over two windows. In short, Moshiri hasn't done anything Kenwright couldn't have done yet, except get the USM deal for Finch Farm and be able to loan us some money.

So he's basically Vibrac without the interest at the moment, that's it.

Would Kenwright carry out work on Goodison Park

Would Kenwright be in talks with Peel and LCC about moving to a dock site stadium

Could Kenwright attract Koeman as manager

Would we have poached Steve Walsh from Leicester without Moshiri

No, underwhelming by his own rhetoric. So far he's talked a big game, but he hasn't backed up the words.

That said, he hasn't been an asset stripping fraud either. As I say, the jury is still completely out on him.

What if we haven't been able to attract the players the manager has wanted? Is that Moshiri's fault?

First one, no, but then that work is quite literally papering over cracks on the cheap.

Second, no, but no real evidence Moshiri is doing so vigorously either.

Thirdly, probably not, but then again Koeman arguably hasn't seen the promises that brought him here met so far, given his harsh words in the last month.

Fourth, see third.

Possibly, if he hasn't been willing to invest to get those deals over the line and it's all an ego trip (see Jim White for details).

I'm not saying that is the case, but there's no evidence either way - as said three times now, the jury is completely out on him. Nobody can say whether he is the real deal or not, because there's nothing to suggest he is or isn't.

No would have sufficed

OK mate, what's Moshiri actually done other than give us a loan the club has to pay back, literally paper over the walls on Goodison and talk absolute guff to Jim White?

I'm happy for you if you're convinced by him - as for me, I'll wait until I see actual evidence. For some reason, you seem very upset by me taking that stance.

Nope, Just a forum to discuss stuff, I don't do angry at words on a screen

Take your own advice, Wait until there is evidence either way, Like you said there isn't any for or against so its a pointless back and forth
