I'm sorry, but what are you talking about? Martinez' compensation and the recruitment of Koeman were paid via club revenues that would still have been in existence if Kenwright was in control. Neither of these costs have been met with investment from Moshiri.

Again, you are acting like Moshiri has been meeting Everton's expenditure on transfers since July 2016, when in reality the expenditure has been met with club revenues on the back of an almighty TV deal.

Moshiri's investment in the club, beyond that of share purchase, is currently limited to the circa 7 million pound a year sponsorship of Finch Farm, and the interest free loan, which really should have formed part of the purchase cost anyway.
Didn't realise 80mil was coppers and your wrong he did.

55mil to pay the debt off and the 25 mil was used on Martinez and co

I was actually thinking about this last night. We actually haven't signed anyone who we wouldn't have been able to sign pre Moshiri with all the money that's floating about. [
There is zero chance we would of paid 7 mil for Lookman, no chance and we definitely wouldn't have brought MS for 22 mil.

Everton we very close to being in serious trouble financial due to terrible management both on and off the field.

AGM with out Farhad.... We agreed an extended agreement with Chany for another 5 years worth 6.5 mil a year.

The debt rose by another 5% due to the lack of season ticket sales and match day revenue.

Lukaku and Stones were sold to help manage the debt and some money (5mil) is available for the manger this TW

Be something very close to that

Fair enough, but then another loan of circa 25 million has been taken out. We could spend all day trying argue what money paid for what expense, but it is true to say that his investment thus far, beyond the purchase of his shares, has been limited to the funds that will be raised through sponsoring Finch Farm and the interest free loan that arguably should have formed part of his acquisition costs.

80 million clearly isn't coppers to anyone, but he has acquired a large Premier League club in 2016, a time in which the club's centre forward alone has a similar value. I personally think that when you include his loan that removes our interest payments then he has paid about market value for de facto control of Everton. His involvement with Everton has clearly had a beneficial effect on Everton, with hopefully more to come, but I don't see massive cash injections on the horizon, or us maximising our losses under FFP.

but we brought in Lukaku for 28m so why wouldn't we have brought in Shneiderlin for 22m mate? I agree with parts of what your saying, I'm just saying the targets are the same imo

p.s why wouldn't we go in for Lookman? we've always tried to get in decent youngsters but have always failed. likes of Niang and even Ramsay when he was at Cardiff. 7m isn't much these days is it mate so if we are paying that for potential stars then it's worth a punt..

It hasn't been taken out, it's on the books but wasn't taken out, TheEsk posted about it when it happened, more of an agreement to loan 25 mil then an actual loan of 25 mil

We brought Lukaku in the summer when we had tv money to get a loan, not in Jan, we never brought Yarmalenko because we simply couldn't afford him

Well I think they do know it mate, but look at the squad...

We have to move players out before bringing anymore in really.

We can get better options for example, in defence, come the summer. We're very eager on Keane and he wants to join us, but Burnley won't allow the move to happen now. That's fair enough. In the summer they'll sell. So for the sake of four months I reckon Jags as back-up for the others works, if (as long as we can do this) we then get the targets in come the summer.

We aren't short of quality on the wings now because we play a different system. We could do with another player who can operate from wide, or centrally in the role Kev has recently been playing or even as another striking option. Lookman has replaced Deulofeu already. I think this is the type of player we're aiming to do business for in these last few days mate.

aye I don't mind waiting until the summer for a cb mate, but could certainly do with someone to play alongside or take the burden off Lukaku along with a door unlocker. Granted Lookman may be Dels replacement.

pretty sure we've had a deals in place for Yarmolenko twice and @roydo and @bluestevon would be able to vouch for this. issues we've had with that was 1. chairman unwilling to sell and 2. this summer the bid came in too late for them to accept.

Your right, we bought Lukaku when the TV money came in, but that's still rolling in now isn't it so isn't that what we are using to buy players now, that and perhaps the Stones money as well.

We can wait until the summer for a new GK or CB at a push we can not go into the next few months with Kone and Valencia having to come on to change a game. Another Sub par window again as I suspect we will not be signing one more first team player. Don't worry the are many of excuses that can be debunked but they will be rolled out anyway.

'Do not wish to over spend' Bolasie 25 Mil lol
'Nobody wants to sell in Jan' Had months to prepare and talk to agents
'We have won a few game's relax the squad is best since 80s' Lol went on a 1 win in 11 streak and knocked out cups having to play lennon and Kone
'We have to sell first due to FFP' Well the new Kenwright had problem telling the world we bid for x y and Z on talk sport
'Relax Moshiri has identified the docks cleared the debt and so on so on'- lol
'Nobdoy wants to join a team that is 7th do you expect Messi? Hold on a second aren't Boro in talks with Jese and stoke signed Berahino who is better than all our strikers apart from Rom
Least the club has it's priorities in giving Barry and Gibson a new contract when Ross and 99% Rom can wait oh and add Baxter in that #PeoplesClub

Stones was sold to free up wages for 6/7 players what happened to that?
Where was these marquee signing's that phil kirkbride printed in a piece with his contacts to club

Actually ignore that post as Jim White said the is big things happening at Everton

I notice you only joined a couple of weeks ago, yet to read anything you've said remotely positive.
I always wondered what the Grinch got upto for the rest of the year.
