I understand the nature of the agreement between the club and the council, and the reason for a special purposes vehicle, but has the £300m loan been agreed with a lender, whether bank or otherwise? Also, I wonder what happens following a budget over-run.

The RS were bought at a giveaway price because they were effectively in receivership, thus
releasing funds for investment in players. Since then, the RS owners have played a clever game of moneyball...and the sale of Coutinho and a cheaper replacement is the next step. Different scenario to Everton were for PR purposes there is a 'long term plan'...but essentially one thing is the same...ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. Very few clubs play the game any other way but 'Sell To Buy' Its called good business, and without good business, you lose lots of money. Chelsea have paid 70 million for Morata, but have got that in in sales. Arsenal have stated they will now sell before they buy. United have finally spent the Ronaldo money, and have saved half of Rooneys wages. Its only City who appear to spent without budget restrictions, and they won nothing last season.

Summer ahead we were told don't threat about Lukaku going.... he's gone.

Barkley wants off, a local lad wants a new challenge... why?

Since spending the Lukaku money we can't complete the signing that Ronald wants more than anyone else.

We still haven't replaced Lukaku, and we still have ageing centre halfs.
