Evertonians won’t do anything. Clapped Kenwright and were fawning over Moshiri at the AGM. Not a single difficult question. The politest most pathetic club in the league.
End of the Coventry game in '98: if Johnson had been there I;d have feared for his life. Genuinely. There was a riotous atmosphere.

Of course, that type of activity is not what we want and is, in fact, an example of how not being constantly on a critical footing can lead to near calamity. We need to be supportive of the club hierarchy when we can (I, for example, applaud the club for the ambition of BMD and recognise a tilt at this needed to be taken), but we also must be strong enough to call them to task and call time on their actions if they threaten the organisation for the betterment of one man or a small number of men.

I think he's trying, I really do. Compare what we're doing with for example Swansea, generated huge revenue selling their best players, and all of it seemingly pocketed by their owners despite record TV income. At least we've tried to spend some of the generated revenue.

His pool of potential recruits and appointments is limited to those who are attracted enough to join us, and let's face it we aren't the most attractive club in world football despite being one of them. Yes he gave koeman too much free rein but koeman was doing an ok job up to that point and he did sack him when he saw it wasn't going well.

That said I do agree with the shouts of being vigilant, this our football club after all, and we have to demand the best as best we can and what's being served up on the pitch at the moment is not good enough.

Always remember the pitch invasion after the game and the crowd stood in front of the main stand getting clods of the pitch and trying to hit the directors box with them.

If he was picking the players we have shelled out a fortune for and given huge wages to then he deserves criticism. However I don't think he is, that seems to have been koeman and Steve Walsh who had responsibility for that mess. Moshiri has helped finance those deals. The degree to which he has is up for debate but fact is we could never have gone on the type of spending spree we have if he wasn't there. He has tried to have a positive impact on the club but needs staff around him who will not let him down. I'm sure he is wondering he has got himself into.

Feels like the last chance saloon for the club on a few levels now, can't afford to get the next managerial appointment wrong, can't afford more dud signings, and can't afford failure for BMD, and that no longer looks as promising as it did.

The common thread running through the club and its failings is Kenwright. It’s clear this alliance with Moshiri is not serving the club without one of them standing aside.

It all comes down to BMD - either it goes ahead and Kenwright eventually departs or it falls through, under such circumstances I can easily foresee another repeat of the Paul Gregg episode with the club as the ultimate loser.

No, it's me "People75". Please clearify your statement, like i asked you. I like to hear some examples, of what you claim.
I'll give one, he's not ballsed up a move to a brand new stadium and set us back decades.

He's not had to go cap in hand and got in hock to shitehawks like Philip Green if we needed 5m to sign a player.

About the stadium, well talk when it's being build. For now there is no new stadium, it's a castle in the sky, if anything.

About player signings. He sold Lukaku on the first few days, of the transfer, without a replacement or getting a player in return, from United.

It's not worse, what you came up with. Not from my perspective, anyway

Coming home from Wembley last night I thought about the Kenwright/Gregg duo too. They could not make that work, man with the money wanted the say in the end. This guy with the money seems prepared to sanction big decisions but it is hard to know the extent to which he is following own judgements or Kenwright's advice....meanwhile on the pitch we have the dreaded DoF/manager combo.....

different era David, I would say the majority of match-going Evertonians these days are split into 2 fairly distinct generations, the older ones who have been browbeaten into submission by the antics of a club that has continuously failed its loyal support, and the young ones for whom this is all they have known, there is no passion in the ground at home games, and there is an acceptance that this is what we are these days, we are finished as a competitor in English football, the only objective is to stay in the premier league, relegation may be the only thing that finally gets rid of Kenwright and his circus, he is desperate to be remembered as the chairman who took us to Bramley Moore, he may well be remembered for the relegation he took us to if not this season then certainly next.
There is no fight left in the fans, the players are the collectively the worst I have ever seen and certainly the most spineless, the most pointless club in the league, the sooner it is over the better.

He's tried to have a positive impact but it's ending up being completely the opposite. I like you think he will be wondering why he's bothered, which is extremely bad news for us going forward.

Incredibly sad read but could easily be true. We as a fan base have been battered by failure, keeping our heads above water and picking up the odd scalp here and here will appeases the masses.
