He paid Martinez and Koeman off, so yeah.

They had terrible form, losing all there last few games.

Since Sam has been here we are the 7th best team according to results, the signings of Walcott and Tosun have done well. We all want rid but he offers security which allows time to focus on the change at CEO level and the continued ground move.

“He (Monchi) could have ended up at Everton last summer but the English club did not want to pay his buy out clause (£3.8m)."
Journalist Gillem Balague made that claim and it serms to fit with what happened - Monchi tried to quit but Sevilla insisted if he wanted to leave the £3.8m had to be paid.
If it's true we paid through the teeth for a manager who'd won almost nothing outside the weak Dutch league and then refused to pay much less for an utterly outstanding DOF then Moshiri's judgement has been atrocious and it's a major contributory factor to the shambles that has unfolded.
He's brought welcome investment but desperately needs advisors who know what their doing.
Balague is generally spot on with everything so I have no reason not to believe this.

I’ve never seen a fan base so at loggerheads with than manager than what it is like currently. Moshiri would be a very silly man to keep Fat Sam beyond May. A dip in form next season under Allardyce would see mayhem in the stands.

Fam resentment would see him off. Nothing the owners hate more than their brand being damaged through fan protest. If he’s here at the start of the season the atmosphere will be toxic and he’ll have another mid season managerial change on his hands. I don’t think he’ll risk that given the chance to start again this summer.

Dear Lord, bag on him for allowing Sam to be our manager, but not for paying off the debt. There's no funny accounting going on here. He he's paying for the stadium, so let's stop that silliness too.

Where has it been said that he will be paying for the stadium? Absolutely nowhere! In fact, we've actually had Joe Anderson saying that Liverpool City Council may hay have to lend us the full 500 million, in the event that we cannot find anyone else to lend us the addition 220 odd million to build the stadium.

He's a conman and a ponce! The fact that he has you thinking that he has paid off the debt, when our debt has actually increased shows that.

The way in which he has gone about buying Everton on the cheap, increased our debt, and isn't willing to put his hand in his own pocket for the stadium shows his attitude to his Everton investment. Everything about his investment in Everton has been on the cheap!

He's no benefactor. He's a mingebag ponce, who intends to use other people's money to take on risk in an effort to line his own pockets.

He's destroyed this club.

There's still people who believe he's been good for us though when we're sitting in the gutter after two years under his control. Unreal.

If people expect him to dip into his own reserves to pay for the build really have no grasp about financing property or investments. The local authority lend scheme is set up for projects such as this, I'm sure they lend to other multi-million pound organisations to encourage them to start projects.
He doesn't even own Everton he just has a large amount of shares, its like owning shares in BA and buying them a brand new plane.
He can still be voted down by anything that would pass through the share holders, an example, he wants us to play in Red, yes 49.9% no 50.1 % mosh loses

I hereby declare Farhad Moshiri to be the Scourge of The People's Club*.

We must move against him ASAP.

[any historical references here totally unintended, I just cba to check]

While I understand and share to some degree the frustration and disappointment with him at the moment , I have to say we were in the gutter when he arrived and had resided there for at least two decades.
In the end no one else appeared to kick the doors down and seize control, there where no multi zillionaire potential benefactors agitating for control, just a dodgy American consortium.
Whether we like it or not Moshiri represents our last chance to begin to recover the massive amount of ground we have lost during the last 30 years.
We were in long term decline when he arrived if he fails then nothing really will have changed and our decline will continue.
