It’s the Russian fella who had been tasked with all the commercial, financial and marketing stuff almost like a pseudo COO role.

Denise as I read it will be responsible for day-to-day running of the club
Yep. So yet again (Dunford, Wyness, Elstone) we have a club secretary position being described as a CEO.

We had one CEO - Trevor Birch - and the owners panicked because he suggested decisions that had the club's best interests at heart rather than the board's.

He got it wrong with Koeman and Walsh, but couldn't have acted a whole lot faster in first managing the damage that the mistake caused and then seeking to correct it. Allardyce was, I will reluctantly admit, an understandable appointment given the circumstances and has been let go at the earliest opportunity. With Brands in and presumably a proper manager to follow within a month or two, hopefully that sorry episode can be left behind.

I'm happy with him so far, overall, I must say.

What has not been noted, and bearing in mind Jim White must have spent best part of 90 minutes this morning an Allardyce/Everton, he did not have a clue of what would happen a few hours later.

Not even a mention along the lines of, "I understand there may be other changes"

Nada.

If THAT channel of communication gets closed down, I for one will not be too disappointed.
White got well binned off after the reaction he got for ringing him up on Deadline Day. Someone wisely told him that was embarrassing.

Didn't he release a statement about it, swore he did.

6 week Trev, looked at the books, cried a bit when he realised the mistake he made, told the board and did one.

Alarm bells ringing

"Everton will NOT change the CEO, Manager and DOF in one summer."

2 days after season finishes:

CEO, Manager and DOF gone.

Tbf, Klaassen is still cack, I'll give you that.

I for one have been utterly wrong-footed by Hack'N'Slash Denise, and I am a happier man for it

I will reiterate though, I think it is seriously high-risk to have that much change
