Apart from his money for new stadium I cannot see any positives at all!!! I think he does not realise he needs a football team that wins matches to match his ambitions. How have Everton FC declined so far under his ownership? He is just spending his petty cash to have a flirt with a TOP club, sorry this is Everton! (Who used to be!).

Today has been a good day, I appreciate the board reshuffle hasn't been to everyone's liking but on a day where Allardyce and all his cronies get the boot, Elstones departure is confirmed and a proper DOF has been brought in meaning less influence for Walsh, can't complain too much for now.

Good work Farhad.
I've said for a while we need
A new CEO to run the club .....DBB
A CEO to oversee the stadium build on time and on budget........Harris
A commercial director to obtain new revenue streams and improve existing one ........Russian lad
A new DOF Brands
A new manager ....TBC
So Moshiri seems to be doing the right things
Wether these people are the right people remains to be seen ,but at least hes acting on the issues and is not afraid to sack people.
i heard on SSN this morning that sacking Allardyce and his staff plus hiring Silva and paying Watford could cost him 14/15 m so he is not afraid to admit his mistakes and pay for them ,unlike Kenwright

Based on our increased revenues this past season from deals and the TV money, and our ability to sell Schneiderlin, Besic, Sandro and Bolasie for at least 100 million, I do think we will have that much to spend. I think we will need 110 million to have a great window of signing 3 top players, and then 1 younger player for 5-10 million. You'd love to remove the entire squad in a window, but the problem is its just too much turnover. The rest of the squad will look worlds better when you simply put in a top CB, a top LB, and remove Schneiderlin, Davies, and Bolasie from the field. Replace those three with the likes of NZonzi, Lookman, Unyekuru, and even someone like Wilshire on a free.

£100million for those aforementioned players? Not a chance. We need to be spending £100 million + regardless of player sales to get anywhere near achieving what brands and Moshiri are talking about.

I'm expecting Silva but i wont be surprised if it doesn't happen because of 2 things
Brands having his own ideas and I cant see Moshiri going against him so soon on a major decision
Trouble with Watford over compensation and the FA getting involved

I would like to think that whoever Moshiri brings in as manager will have been discussed with Brands at some length already.

Otherwise, whats the point in prising a DOF away, to then just tell him this is the manager?

If we go back in for a second time and fail to secure him the club is a laughing stock. Surely that wont be allowed to happen and the delay will just be about the Ponzis focussing on what they can get and what they stand to lose if he goes elsewhere?
