I’m just a tad worried about Moshiri’s knowledge about football
He appointed Koeman and BFS
He just looks a bit like a lost boy when watching a game
His knowledge is zero, absolutely crap, but he keeps on trying to make the decisions football men need to

Why? He bloody hired Fat sam in the first place!! it's all his doing, so whats he gonna do, knock himself out?

Please are saying he has learned from his numuerous mistakes...sorry but the season hasn't even started, players havent been signed nor is a manager in place. lets put the champagne on hold for now like.

If we go back in for a second time and fail to secure him the club is a laughing stock. Surely that wont be allowed to happen and the delay will just be about the Ponzis focussing on what they can get and what they stand to lose if he goes elsewhere?

I hope Brands is allowed make that call unless he was told in advance that Silva is the new manager and he agreed to it.
Silva will have to agree to working under a DOF and relinquish control over signing players.

I’ve lived in Queensland for 15 years and traveled all over Australia, I’ve never heard it.

I worked and lived in the torres st islands, kowanyama, arakun, lockhardt river and cairns as well as serving 3 years in lotus glen cc .... i heard it everyday lol i also speak creole

Guess is was just more exposed to it (y)

An aspect of this summer that is going to be telling in my opinion is our transfer outlay and investment made and the motivation behind that.

This is the first year we dont have a highly sought after asset to sell no Stones, no Lukaku, no Barkley we can bank on for a big fee coming in. I suspect we might see significant reduced activity.

Be interesting to see how this plays out and likely a good insight into the Moshiri era.

I don't think it'll affect the spending too much but then to flip that I can't really see any high profile incomings either.

I think Brands will play it a bit more cautious in his first year - get a manager in and make a couple of more 'under-the-radar' type signings and get the squad reorganised. He certainly doesn't seem the type of guy who will freely splash the cash at any rate.

Brands said as much in his interview with a Dutch media outlet when stating that we are a club that's seen too much player turnover in recent seasons and that 'stability' is required.

Koeman emptied the club's coffers out and wasted it buying trash. The next half a decade at least will be recovering from that.

Dave’s got his rod out again

It's not even remotely controversial. You think we can spend and waste £300M and not repent at leisure? You're in for a shock if you do.
I think we’re in for another summer of big spending. I can see us bringing in around £70m through player sales and spending around £150m-£200m on the squad.

The aim has to be to be playing Champions League football by the time we move to the new stadium.
Can you imagine that in 5 years time? Having to sell to buy in the coming seasons and with a stadium to start thinking about paying for. Champions League football is way, way out of our reach.

That's why we shouldn't baulk at the idea of a Silva type manager who can come in and make use of whats here and maybe play some decent stuff and retain a top half place in the coming years. The notion we are in the hunt for star managers to get us top 4 is so fantastical it's almost funny.
