I think he's saw Silva and thought he was the next Pochettino but did so judging over about 10 games.

Its scary how unprofessional he has been in regards to that - Brands should have been given the job to appoint manager or at the very least an interview process looking at a number of impressive candidates.

I think its why Silva wont be sacked regardless of performances as he is Silva's man 100% - if he sacks Silva he'll look an absolute mug.
And now you’re judging Silva after half a dozen games
Wind your head back to the end of BFS time ... you would have been happy to see any progress away from the trash we were playing

I just dont rate him mate and dont think he'll be a success here.

If we had any ambition we should have gone for a more established manager.

Inappropriate Behaviour
Oh and before you go on about how long you have been a "fan" remember we all have been chosen not just you so if you can't back your club through a period of unrest, what makes you think you will be any good when it gets better.

hahahahahahah possibly the gayest and most cringey thing I have ever read on here

you deffo have that on your rear windscreen don't you

Moshiri’s hiring and firing methods show a lack of understanding of what he wants for the club, IMO.

He sacks Martinez and employs Koeman. The two had very different playing styles. Next up is Fat Sam, who plays a football-style from the Stone Age, and now we’ve gone full circle and are back to a more Martinez-type brand of football.

Just no consistency at all. Though, I don’t know how much influence Steve Walsh has had on managerial appointments. When we inevitably sack the current clown in charge, I hope Brands gets to pick his own man as manager.

What realistic, established manager would you have got?

Nagelmann, Jardim, Mancini, Pellegrini, Benitez would have been my 5 man shortlist. Emery (when Arsenal were touting up Arteta) would have also have been my outsider ambitious target.

Hopefully once Silva inevitably is peddled Brands is the man that picks the manager.

I know we have alot of gash in the squad that needs going but with the players we do have sitting in 11th and out of the League Cup in October with the fixtures we have is pish poor.

The next AGM is Jan 8th, very early to publish the date of this, wonder if they have some news

Which just happens to be my birthday, as well as Elvis and David Bowie.
There’s something in this.

Nagelmann and Jardim aren't established, Mancini had City flopping back after winning the title instead of maintaining the standard, Pellegrini won't last at West Ham despite them having a bit of a good run and Benitez wouldn't come here for anything out of risk of the backlash from the Cult. Emery is the only one I agree with but it was 90% certain he was going to Arsenal despite the Arteta stuff

Whilst not established they are both doing what needs to be done at EFC mate - building a team playing good attacking football and competing at the top level. Mancini and Pellegrini are both title winners although Mancini is a hot head. Pellegrini turned Villarreal into a very good side in La Liga and I think he'll do well at West Ham if given the time.

All of them are less of a risk and more proven than the bloke Moshiri chased for over 8 months after a good 10 games at midtable Watford - that's the concern for me.

Who's to say Silva won't? He's got to be given the time to put his stamp on things, it's the lack of patience that's destroying us in the past 5 years. Martinez got 3 years and was getting turned on early into his second season, Koeman got it 3/4 into his only full season and Silva is getting the same treatment only 8 games into his reign. Until the remnants of all past reigns are eradicated and we have a settled, injury free squad then we can see just how things go
