Who's to say Silva won't? He's got to be given the time to put his stamp on things, it's the lack of patience that's destroying us in the past 5 years. Martinez got 3 years and was getting turned on early into his second season, Koeman got it 3/4 into his only full season and Silva is getting the same treatment only 8 games into his reign. Until the remnants of all past reigns are eradicated and we have a settled, injury free squad then we can see just how things go

He just hasn't shown enough in the Premier League to justify it mate. Relegated with Hull, decent 10 games at Watford but nothing else.

We need a manager who can take us to the next level and nothing ive seen from Silva at Hull, Watford or us so far gives me any confidence.

Our attacking play isn't great and our defending at times is an utter shambles that would be ripped apart at the highest level. For me he's no different to the Puels and Garcias of this world - midtable managers with fancy foreign names.

Im happy for fans to beleive in him and give him time but my thoughts are already on hoping Brands is ambitious when we inevitably bring in the next bloke.

You could argue he really hasn't had the time to show it, considering Hull may not have gone down had he had a full season, and Watford may not have stuttered as much last year had we not sniffed around him after binning Koeman. It's far far too early to be speculating on the next manager when the current incumbent has barely put his feet under the table

I just dont rate him mate and dont think he'll be a success here.

If we had any ambition we should have gone for a more established manager.
Please give some justification as to why after such a short time you just don’t like him
Because to me that sounds like not quite enough to convince me he isn’t any good
What I see is a guy making progress
Compared to the football we played under Sam and even Koeman its better to watch

Relegated with Hull
Handful of good games for Watford
11th place in table and knocked out of the league cup at home to Southampton

Not at all impressed with him.

Just been reading an article in the Times (paper version not digital - provided free at the airport) about how 50% of wealthy Russians in the UK work as spies. There is a clamp down underway and it specifically mentioned that an owner of a football club wasn under investigation as “buying a national sporting treasure no longer buys you acceptance in British society”... it didn’t name the person, would this likely be Abramovic? Wasn’t sure as he’s been here so long already and don’t think he’s Putin’s favourite guy.

Does anyone think Moshiri could get caught up in this with his Russian ties? And further to that, Usmanov?

No chance.

He's here to make money from real estate in the docks area.

Abramovic can't get a UK visa to work here.

Chances of the stadium going ahead is now slim there's Brexit on the horizon and the fact that the luxury car makers like jlr are cutting back and luxury hotels are starting to close some hotels is always the first sign a recession is looming.

They will wait until Brexit is finalised and then use that as a Scape goat for sprillaing costs.
