Chances of the stadium going ahead is now slim there's Brexit on the horizon and the fact that the luxury car makers like jlr are cutting back and luxury hotels are starting to close some hotels is always the first sign a recession is looming.

They will wait until Brexit is finalised and then use that as a Scape goat for sprillaing costs.

Sorry, this role was taken many moons ago...there can be only one davek®.

Weird how you lot laugh at us about new grounds when we’ve built both stadiums in this city and will build a third whilst you lot couldn’t even get a spade in the ground. Nice hole punch stand though.

Liverpool city centre has no available office space left apparently, there’s around £1 billion worth of developments going up from Paddington Village, Princes Dock , Chinatown and Pall Mall regardless of Brexit and once that’s sorted there’ll be even more including our stadium.

Some very bad economics in this

Just been reading an article in the Times (paper version not digital - provided free at the airport) about how 50% of wealthy Russians in the UK work as spies. There is a clamp down underway and it specifically mentioned that an owner of a football club wasn under investigation as “buying a national sporting treasure no longer buys you acceptance in British society”... it didn’t name the person, would this likely be Abramovic? Wasn’t sure as he’s been here so long already and don’t think he’s Putin’s favourite guy.

Does anyone think Moshiri could get caught up in this with his Russian ties? And further to that, Usmanov?

Chelsea......a “national treasure” :(

Brilliant.. You've made my Monday thank you X

For what it's worth though JLR are cutting back because of a lack of foresight and didn't plan for the Hybrid/Battery operated cars they stuck with good old fashioned diesel cars as the future.

Back on track.. At 1st the PR machine with talkpoop didn't inspire me now he seems to have got his head down and got a very good team behind him we're are slowly but surely making progress and thats what it's all about. Not a sprint but a long term Project which is neatly unfolding.

Doesn't Murdock own the Times now

Moshiri’s hiring and firing methods show a lack of understanding of what he wants for the club, IMO.

He sacks Martinez and employs Koeman. The two had very different playing styles. Next up is Fat Sam, who plays a football-style from the Stone Age, and now we’ve gone full circle and are back to a more Martinez-type brand of football.

Just no consistency at all. Though, I don’t know how much influence Steve Walsh has had on managerial appointments. When we inevitably sack the current clown in charge, I hope Brands gets to pick his own man as manager.
There is that fear that Silva's may turn out to be a rich man's Martinez (meaning not good enough) but he also may turn out to be the real deal. But yeah, that moniker aptly describes everything between Moyes and Silva (barring Unsy of course).

Hope you're still happy with your loft conversion.
