Not sure you can can draw one single absolute conclusion from the accounts if im honest, for example its good to invest 100 million in a football club from a fans perspective, its better if it had been managed better and you didn't need to.

£100mil pumped into the club to support it after paying off all kinds of staff, I think it says the owners are serious about where this club is going and the end goal is worth it to them, just can't see this being a one man business venture

Well if it is, at this rate, we will be Venkeyed and Risdaled in no time.

Unless there is a plan or sommet. Y'know.

Raises an eyebrow doesnt it?

Its hard not to draw that speculation really isnt it, when you drill down into its 250mill investment in two years.

I know Moshiri is incredibly wealthy but to pour in a quarter of a billion by annually, is either madness or genius.

The most logical conclusion is outside shenanigans really.

Especially when you think we will be going to the well shortly for stadium financing.

Well, technically, he hasnt reduced his overall wealth. Its just been shifted from one bank to Everton, which if valued, would have those shares as his asset. I think.

But, even if thats a little bit right, he (and a mate maybe) has committed a shed load of his wealth to a project that he sees as a decent long term bet.

Just doesnt stack up for me, innital outlay to buy his shares and two non secured loans of 250 mill. Both will be turned into equity of course, you are talking about 350 million worth on investment in the three years he has been here. Im not sure the whole club is worth 350 million if im honest, nor given his reported weatlh how sensible that is privately, that is before stadium financing as we move away from the council option.

I dont think he is not sensible BTW.To be frank i dont think he is working alone unofficially.

No, it doesnt really stack up to me neither. And no, he isnt daft or irresponsible. He is a boring accountant ffs.

I deliver parcels for a living, so not exactly an expert on this stuff, but your concluding thought is difficult to bat away. Its been my thinking for ages that a longer, more profitable game is involved alongside all this. Not one day goes by when evidence is produced to dispel that theory. The exact opposite in fact.

I think we are all feeling our way in the dark and speculating on this mate, i talk myself out of it regularly and then they throw more fuel the Russian BBQ and i write a letter to Usminov Claus in the transfer thread. ;)

You've been talking about the long game from the very beginning mate.

I believe you are correct.

There simply has to be a big massive pot of gold ( known as the stadium and what that will bring) at the end of the road we are currently walking.

Its a long, slow, painful and frustrating journey but bloody hell if it comes off and gets us back up and running as a club competing at the top again season in season out it will have been worth all the disappointments and let downs and false dawns we've suffered over the years.

Our owner in partnership with
e

He will make it all back when he sells to the Chinese
Or so Dave tells me

Hes in for around 350m so far, say another 100m or so to hoover up the rest of the shares, thats gonna be a 450m "investment", so if he can turn a profit on that, it means we arent the nothing club with a rundown stadium we were when he bought us.

Doesn’t suit the agenda Neil
Mosh is a carpetbagger or so I’m reliably informed and the Govt are stopping his mate investing
