The next appointment is crucial. If Brands is left to get on with it without interference from Moshiri and Kenwright, we might actually improve.
kenwright has only just be re-appointed in making big decisions again by Moshiri...

so I think a managerial decision will defo be involving big blue bill.

mind nummmmmmbing

I understand Brands has come with a bit of rep, what I don’t understand is the complete confidence some have in him to do the same here. It’s one thing doing it in Holland for one of the biggest clubs. A League whereby, even the big clubs dont really spend much money. So they can afford to gamble on young lads costing little in the hope that they come good. A League where Davy Klaasen can look like a 24m player. It’s gonna be completely different over here. We want 1st team players desperately not young kids he can, and I have no doubt he will, nurture. But there are no guarantees he’s upto that side of the job.

yes this is a new league and new experience and above all else new huge pressure. he very well may wilt like the rest have

The question is, how long until he pulls the plug? He has got absolutely nothing for his investment, not even a Derby win. He hasn't even seen Goodison rocking. You could put forward a case for this being the most boring spell in our entire history I'm sure.

You'd best pray that Brands can succeed because Moshiri has failed miserably with his appointments so far.

I really hope he sells to Usmanov and buggers off.
