Moshiri did not intend to sack Silva today, Brands had insisted it would be the wrong decision because the club is trying to change for the long-term, mostly in terms of mindset. Someone posted a pretty good analogy last night. Marco is the PE teacher that everyone likes but never actually does his job. Marco is a great person - not even kidding or trying to soften the blow. Rarely made excuses and shouldered blame. May even be a good individual teacher of the game. Not good at his job of putting together consistently good game plans and winning, and that's all that matters in this business as a manager.

As happy as i am he has seen the rot, not having an immediate manager in place shows he has no idea how to run a club, and putting the clubs premier league status at risk proves he was as strongheaded as he is stupid in appointing Silva.
