Been a rough start no doubt about it and he’s made probably every mistake under the sun....but....going into next season we have a world class manager at the helm with Moshiri’s first choice DOF and a progress continuing on the news stadium. Moshiri has undoubtedly not taken any opportunities for quick wins but I’d rather be in this position than have Kenwright looking for who is out of work in the northwest when we need a manager and talking about how he passes Walton hall park on his way to the match and wishes we could have a stadium there.

Why knock DBB? She's been very competent at what she is supposed to do, and was being headhunted by lots of top commercial companies until Bill persuaded her to stay ,citing her Evertonian support.
Kenwright is chairman, because love him or hate him, he knows the way Everton 'works' and he is an astute negotiator, both within the club,at league level, and in the nitty gritty of transfer dealings. Bill has a solid rep amongst the football hierarchy and its been whispered he's in line for a knighthood.
The Russian guy is Usmanovs eyes and ears in the club, with Moshiris consent.
Koeman and WAlsh, and possibly Brands have all let Mosh down big style in my opinion.

You used to be on Kipper didn’t you?

Still loving Blue Bill all these years on

I said 'love him or hate him' then expressed an opinion. Any chance you could actually debate the issue. Part of the deal on a forum is that people are entitled to disagree. Everyone knows I was on Kipper....mainly because I've never found it beccessary to change my user name. The Pro or anti Kenwright argument has been done to death, and yet some people continue to nit pick or throw stones whenever they can. Get yourself a life and try debating the issues, buddy.

Sorry pc craziness I only entered the post once !

There is one thing that sticks out for me mate, didn’t they correspond with each other during these deals? From manager to director of football to ceo , chairman, owner and so on?

I’m not saying Koeman and Walsh are blameless , far from it, what I’m trying to understand is, was their dialogue with others above them on going? If not , why? You know, collective responsibility and so on.

You would thinks so....but Mosh at that time would have expected to delegate....it was a fact that he was very green as a head honcho at a football club and Bill was always a dealer, but the targets had to be identified by somebody else e.g. Koeman and Walsh). Give Bill a target and he'd go do the deal if possible on the right terms, for example Lukaku. And I think at the time Walsh and Koeman were going crazy, Bill was quite seriously ill,in fact for some time there was some concern over his long term health(he is still not in good health, and had drawn back on theatrical projects even before the pandemic. I think that during the pandemic he would be locked down as 'at risk'(just as I was/still am) and this might account for Everton being slow of the mark this window.

Its possible although I would imagine that Brands is chief negotiator now? I suppose a lot of teams are just about finishing up their season and the financial uncertainty of the pandemic is slowing things down. I can see more moves happening once European competitions are wrapped up.

Goebbles here at it again, 10 years on still speaking unadulterated Kenwright propaganda.

He was sick? How do you know that?

I heard he was on his death bed just before selling the club which timed well with fan pressure but that turned out to be load of lies.

He’s no “great deal broker” the great deal broker who nearly sold a club to a man in a bed sit.

The great deal breaker who had QIA there ready to buy the club.

Now us being slow in the transfer market is because you’re idol and probably family friend has been locked down?

Absolute wham bars Steve from Wigan.
