If he sold tomorrow for a profit would he have left having pushed us "forward"?

He couldn't sell us for a profit tomorrow, that's the point. He either sells for a loss or doubles down on his investment to get us towards the 1 billion mark.

No one is buying us for 500 million + the buyer would have to plough in another 150-200 million to proceed with BMD.

Took over a club in 13th, with Martinez as manager.

So LOL, yes he has.
Took over a club that had been to Wembley that season and been 5th with a club record total. Hires one decent manager in 4 years in Ancelotti - who still wont get Everton to Wembley or anywhere near Martinez's PL points record.

He's a clueless Iranian biff who wasted £500M on transfer cash by hiring a series of 'kin weapons.

What had the club been in the months before and since?

That is not really true. Yes we have made mistakes in personnel but without learning from that we would have continued making them until the funds were withdrawn and we ended up like Blackburn under Venky's or Sunderland or Newcastle, Villa etc.

He managed to stop the freefall and put in place something which is probably the most significant in our history bar from the club's formation. BMD is going to keep us at the forefront of English football for the next 60 years, without that our steady decline would have continued until we were as relevant as Preston NE. You don't have to like him to show some respect for not just settling for a cow shed somewhere out by the motorway but giving something which will live on far after he has shuffled off.
