As an accountant who did his studies and articles almost similarly as the way Farhad did his, I must say that's it's awesome that us bean counters are finally getting some praise! lol
With todays news ( Stadium ) I believe we all owe Mr Moshiri a massive thank you and think we should at least name one of the new stands after him.
I second this notion, but we call it something like: 'The Stone Cold Accountant' Stand.

Stone cold sounds just about right.
Moshiri has very definitely delivered a " Stone Cold Stunner" to Davek today. :)

To be fair if he invests like he has and is in the football club and it becomes a sustainable asset and we are successful and he makes money from that I would not begrudge him one penny for having the vision and the ball to undertake such a project.

Again don't disagree, but look at the mess he'd picked up, we were a shambles. Martinez picked up a decent side and systematically ruined it practically, with his psychobabble nonsense and crappy philosophy. I maintain Martinez should've been nowhere Everton.
I think there are cases for both managers, I think Martinez definitely dropped the ball after such a good 1st season. I think some of the senior players turned on him maybe because of their loyalty to Moyes. Also we had a lot a bad luck with injuries at the start of the 2nd season. Then he made bad buys but the pot was blown getting on Lukaku a permanent deal. Barkley and Stones where promoted and we played a good brand of football but he was stubborn. He kept starjumps in nets past his sell by date and star jumps wasn’t suited to Martinez’s playing style. But I blame the players as much as I blame Martinez. He lost some players that he shown too much loyalty to. He had some blind spots but calling the Spanish fraud was unjust and he cared about the football club. He did have to go in the end, senior players wanted him gone but they should have been purged along with him.
