I think there are cases for both managers, I think Martinez definitely dropped the ball after such a good 1st season. I think some of the senior players turned on him maybe because of their loyalty to Moyes. Also we had a lot a bad luck with injuries at the start of the 2nd season. Then he made bad buys but the pot was blown getting on Lukaku a permanent deal. Barkley and Stones where promoted and we played a good brand of football but he was stubborn. He kept starjumps in nets past his sell by date and star jumps wasn’t suited to Martinez’s playing style. But I blame the players as much as I blame Martinez. He lost some players that he shown too much loyalty to. He had some blind spots but calling the Spanish fraud was unjust and he cared about the football club. He did have to go in the end, senior players wanted him gone but they should have been purged along with him.
I would like to add the game we beat Arsenal 3-0 at home was one of the best I had at Goodison park.

To think that 43.8% of lads on here are supposedly disappointed with him.

Look we may have Ancelotti in the dug out, a galactico in James and are building a top of the range new ground on the banks of the Mersey, but there are still some that would like to ask Moshiri...

:D

It was at 49% last week.
Only 43.6 against now...maybe the rest are waiting for finance, an actual spade in the ground and plans for the grand opening before switching.

Hard audience to please here at GOT.

I just realised that I originally had put disappointed so have now changed. I think the word disappointed leaves it a bit open to interpretation though. Because really it is disappointing that on the pitch we actually haven't improved at all since Moyes left, however, that is not the fault in any way of Moshiri as he's put all the tools in place for that not to be the case.

We do have a good base of young progressive players to work from and improve now, but I feel Moshiri really needs to break the bank in the Summer and go hard with disregard for ffp in the hope it is scrapped. We need to get 3 top signings in, players who are improving and not players who are coming to the end of their career or failing at others clubs.

I'm just going to leave my vote as disappointed just because when I did vote, I was. Great news about the stadium though, reading a certain newspaper article on it and the comments section is jam full of furlough FC supporters and I thought the blue side, were supposed to be the bitter ones?

The vote is for if you are satisfied with Mr Moshiri not if you happy with the team performance since he came ,so I do not have a clue what the naysayers are after .What more could he have done ?
He has had far deeper pockets than I ever dreamed of our owner having ,and is genuinely is happy to be here ,I don't know what people want from him that he isn't trying to give us -and then there is the Stadium ,surely it is everyone of our dreams to have a ground to be proud of and comfortable to visit .
This man had no connection to us or the city and here he is doing more than his fair share to make us once again a force in football and 43.5% are not happy !
It beggars the question are they truly Everton fans ,if they are then they should have a good look at themselves in a mirror .

Thats not how an open ended poll works...

When the stadium opens and if we've still got Ancelotti in charge, boss players and won something then I hope there's a massive statue of Farhad greeting you as you enter through the Bramley Moore dock walls (and Usmanov to hopefully) the history books could point to him at this time as the man that put Everton back on track and ready to go for another 150 years, front of the city for all to see, the real and original team of Liverpool

Is it just me or does anyone else think his wealth is alot higher than that has been public stated? I've seen in various financial publications his wealth at around 1.9 billion.

So over time we've seen other Premier league owners with a reported bigger wealth spew at spending anywhere near what he has in essence wasted on us. Find it hard to believe that someone who's made career out of looking after peoples money would spend 500 million his 1.9 billion fortune purely out of love for football unless the well was lot deeper?

I know people will come back with "it's not his money" but i'am more interested in if his personal fortune is alot higher than we've been told.
