Is it just me or does anyone else think his wealth is alot higher than that has been public stated? I've seen in various financial publications his wealth at around 1.9 billion.

So over time we've seen other Premier league owners with a reported bigger wealth spew at spending anywhere near what he has in essence wasted on us. Find it hard to believe that someone who's made career out of looking after peoples money would spend 500 million his 1.9 billion fortune purely out of love for football unless the well was lot deeper?

I know people will come back with "it's not his money" but i'am more interested in if his personal fortune is alot higher than we've been told.
Shhhh

Thank you Mr Moshiri this is an unprecedented step we’ve made and one that simply is not possible if you hadn’t have got involved with this great club, had it been for the previous incumbent we’d have been playing football with the Bullens crumbling apart
A bit needless don't you think to have a go on a link about another person ?
Whether be true or not

Anyone with investments in Russian interests etc. is usually considered to be more wealthy than publicly stated I believe

Oh, without a doubt buddy. That 1.9 billion is what he wants everyone to see.

He was an accountant before he was a billionaire, and one thing accountants know how to do is setup a financial structure to show specifically what they want to show, and find (legitimate) ways to hide assets. And he was a damn good accountant, so you can imagine how intricate his personal financial structure is set up.

Many millionaires / billionaires will have accountants running investments / finances for them particularly those not from a financial background.

The fact they also happen to be best mates is like me cleaning my mates gutter and cutting his grass and being handed a shiny car. I've worked for the car but I've been VERY handsomely paid for the work all things considered.

Big Ali rewarded somebody who he trusted, became friends with and who made him a massive amount of money.

The Mosh worked hard for his dough.

It's definitely a reward or compensation of some sort.

Moshiri was Uzzi's accountant for ages before that. What's Uzzi's reported net worth? About 16 billion? I'd imagine that the Mosh gave Uzzi a solid financial foundation to build his empire on, and by that I mean creating holding companies, subsidiaries and trusts and then structuring the group in a way that maximizes revenue, saves on tax, etc... And above all, it looks solid so that when the auditors come once a year to scrutinize the books, they'll give you a clean audit report because they didn't find any issues. That's what a good accountant can bring to the table. That 16 billion would be a lot less if it weren't for the Mosh.

Plus, having intricate details of all of Uzzi's dealings, the Mosh probably knows were a most of the skeletons are hidden! lol
So it makes sense that you'd want to keep your accountant happy by giving him a nice fat reward.
Lol, remember lads, it wasn't any of the grizzled hardcore gun totting FBI agents that brought Al Capone down, in the end it was a scrooney, grey suit wearing, four eyed, pocket protector wearing accountant that did him in.
