I think this will be his last big balls out moment, he’ll go for a name, back him financially and if it doesn’t work he’ll reign everything in

That's what you get when you make a deal with Kenwright. It's very faustian
What happens when you leave the whole of the old regime at the club, he should have cut them cancerous oafs out the second he had the power to. Now he reaps the rewards of five years of mismanagement, I only hope he doesn’t lose interest or we will stink of Leeds, sheff wed et al

He’s employed Brands to be DOF, so he needs to let Brands actually work as the DOF and let him make big decisions. No doubt Moshiri will have a say, but he shouldn’t be the one choosing the next manager.

The DOF & new manager must be aligned for any type of long-term plan to work. It’s pretty clear that hasn’t happened over the past few years.

Dunno, think he may learn more from the knife Carlo just left in his back

Honestly, I would like to think we were aware beforehand what May have turned Ancelotti, and made him want to leave.

Hes invested a lot of money since arriving, and I’m very grateful for that.

But you’re right, I hope he’s learnt that lesson and if he brings in a top, top manager, we back him to the hilt, and ensure we escalate what we need.
Real Madrid will always be a tough job to turn down, but Look at Liverpool... Klopp will never get his head turned, Guardiola can’t be poached, I don’t think Tuchel would jump from Chelsea... You need to build your team and make the manager want to stay.

I don’t want any of the managers we are currently linked with ! Come on Farhad sort us a good one out

Last time out, we were told we needed a “reality check”, as Moyes was “the best we could get”.... Moshiri pulled Ancelotti out the bag.

Money talks and if he throws a Conte £11m a year, I’m certain they will think hard about it.
