It hasn't been worth it really has it?

For Allardyce and Benitez alone it hasn't been, but when you add on 5 years of largely putrid football, zero success on the pitch, money wasted on rubbish players and finishing back where we were when he bought the club it's been a calamity we should have avoided.

The stadium is there in theory, but we're miles off that.

No it's not been worth it at all, a bunch of sketches is the sole achievement of 5 years work.

Moshiri trying to fashion himself as a Roman Abramovich type figure is a large part of the shambolic results at Everton. As much as I despise roman as a human being, the dude is typically savvy when it comes to football, Moshiri on the other hand lacks any insight or awareness towards the game. He needs get someone knowledgeable who will actually assert a vision upon the club instead of just being a sycophant who follows moshiris inept whims like brands.

Imagine if you'd have said 5 years ago, when there were a few of us onto him, but he was largely seen as some sort of saviour, that 5 years from now we would be positionally worse off. Have seen some of the worst years as blues, have a squad full of rubbish who didn't care, were on the verge of appointing Rafael benitez as manager having already employed Sammy Lee and Sam Allardyce... and the promised new stadium would still just be drawings, would we have been believed?

I suspect we would have been labelled as cranks who "don't want good things".
