I maintain he has been good off pitch, stadium seems to be finally happening and we act like a 21st century club wity regards to sponsorships and endorsments now

But christ, keep your hands off the football side please

Blue Bill had no money and too much sentiment.

Mosh has loads of money and zero sentiment.

Bet people wish for that billionaire owner that is in the middle
Abramovic seems to genuinely like football, as do city and Leicester's owners. Moshiri seems to only be in the game because he's been told that's what all the other rich people do.

It's been interesting since they arrived.

Isn't that a Chinese curse - may you live in interesting times?
If we'd have got Monchi which was the no1 target at the time when he took over do you believe we'd have been in a different situation to the present?

I always feel this was pivotal...everything after losing out on him felt like a patch up job? The Walsh Koeman axis absolutely sent us down a path which we're still paying for today?

Every rash decision now still feel like it's a ripple affect from those early days.

I understand your misgivings with Moshiri but it could have potentially been so much better.

That's his only saving grace, but as a fan I just want to watch the team play well, but were 3 windows away from having a quality team sheet.

I dont know about Monchi. Did he do anything successful after he left Sevilla?

I just think Moshiri is naive and sees football like an ordinary business. It's not. That's his big mistake. He thinks if you hire previously successful people they'll hand you success.

No DoF will work if they are not allowed to do their job. The DoF should be appointing the manager but it is very clear that it is Moshiri (or maybe Usmanov) who decides on who the manager is every time.

He went to Roma did okay and is now back at Sevilla.

Investment and stadium are positives
Boardroom still isn't professionalised from top to bottom which means removing Bill from the board and installing a world class CEO.
The clubs communication with fans is shocking.
He meddles in football matters.

Until he sorts out the boardroom with world-class operators and allows the DOF he appointed, free reign to handle recruitment and appointing managers, we will carry on going backwards on the field.

In what way is it clear ? What us your source please ?
I have no source, I am not itk. I am saying it is clear because the current history of recruitment has no pattern. It's either Moshiri employing people he has heard of, has met or has been recommended by Usmanov or Joorabchian. If that isn't the case, and Brands has been in charge of scattergun managerial appointments, then he is an incompetent idiot. Either way it is bad news for Everton. What is indisputable is that we have spent hundreds of millions in fees (for players and to agents), increased our wage bill markedly and our sporting achievements have been weaker than under Kenwright where we played in Europe semi-regularly. We are a poorly run club and the buck for that stops with Moshiri and Brands, Benitez is just the latest symptom.
