He's quickly becoming a case study of what not to do when you buy a sports team. Christ he's clueless.

Mate looks like we agree again. This is a great post.I have no source, I am not itk. I am saying it is clear because the current history of recruitment has no pattern. It's either Moshiri employing people he has heard of, has met or has been recommended by Usmanov or Joorabchian. If that isn't the case, and Brands has been in charge of scattergun managerial appointments, then he is an incompetent idiot. Either way it is bad news for Everton. What is indisputable is that we have spent hundreds of millions in fees (for players and to agents), increased our wage bill markedly and our sporting achievements have been weaker than under Kenwright where we played in Europe semi-regularly. We are a poorly run club and the buck for that stops with Moshiri and Brands, Benitez is just the latest symptom.
Correct. He's appointed every manager and you can tell which signings were on his say so too...I have no source, I am not itk. I know media reports should be taken with a pinch of salt but so many of them suggest that Moshiri and Usmanov are meeting prospective managers in luxury hotels and on yachts and whatnot and that gives me pause. Combine that with genuinely attributable comments about things like wanting "Hollywood" managers by Moshiri and it makes me worry and also makes it likely that he has a big say in who that manager is. You're right though, Brands has only been involved in two manager recruitments now and I may have unfairly maligned him over Walsh/Moshiri appointments. I still don't see any real strategy though with who has been linked and who we have had in the past.Silva was already signed up when Brands arrived, so he has just been involved with one so far and that Ancelotti. Not a bad record if you ask me!
Obviously that will take a hit if we hire Benitez but all signs point to needs must rather than this is the bloke we want managing us for the next decade.
The feller's put the club's name in the gutter. Calling radio stations to talk to Jim White like we're Hartlepool or some such outfit; saying Lukaku's Ma was carrying out voodoo. He's a liability.I think maybe alot of us just holding back on the criticism because of the stadium getting the green light money and so forth, but come on lad sort club out its a shambles flop after flop and now all this
They know but they are appointing him anyway
So when you say it’s clear … it’s something you’ve created based on your observations ….. we slam the press for thatI have no source, I am not itk. I will only slag him off when the stadium is built, until then he is our saviour.I won't diss Moshiri at all. Yes he has made some bad choices but we are still getting a new stadium, we still have money, we are more solvent with him. Just getting the right manager has been his negative but I don't want him to sell up unless it is to someone richer than him.
