Lol
Sorry …it’s nothing serious
it’s just a poke at your obvious passion. … and I applaud it …. I’m too passionate about things like semantics and grammar to be even slightly relevant on a football forum
I’m a pedant … I can’t help myself
You’re a much better contributor than a twit like me
My passion is waning by the day! I'm certainly not a better contributor than anyone else.
P.S. is your forum name after that wrestler who bizarrely claimed to support us?

I struggle to see where we afford it? Unless the endgame is complete the stadium and sell up, I can't see where Moshiri benefits from this at all. Before you say he's doing it from the love of his heart, he wouldn't live in a Monaco tax heaven if this was the case.

Well Usmanov is potentially our owner or at the very least closely linked financially and interested in the stadium and he's worth £13+ billion

Moshiri is worth £2 billion

The stadium will cost around £500-600 million

We are reportedly getting a USM Naming rights deal in the region of £200-300 million towards it with Moshiri putting a further £100 million in himself. The rest will be a private loan.

Thats how - but EFC fan who signs up a few days ago knows more about Evertons finances than our billionaire owners...

The Usmanov is a conspiracy theory. He has some input, but if he was really pulling the strings do you believe someone with his track record would not FIGHT tooth and nail for the best?

Look at Željko Ražnatović 'Arkan' when he ran FK Obilić. Not saying he should go to that extreme or it even being possible, but Usmanov has serious allegations or Murder and was convicted of rape.

Someone like that does not allow Big Sam and Rafael to be manager even if Moshiri is his proxy.

Anyway a naming rights deal alone won't be 200 million. Man City's is 15 Million a year roughly.

If you let's say do a deal for 10 years at that rate (pushing it) that's far short of 200 million.

He won't be investing any personal capital into this project.

You are right about the loan part, we will be in debt up to eyeballs with a negative wage turn over.

He walks away we go into administration.

If we are having a stadium built, he will want to sell the club eventually, that is why a mid table manager is coming in to make us stay afloat until then.

This is the only situation that makes sense.

Everton fans are mad when they start talking about the behind the scenes finances, what happens on the pitch we can see, but that stuff is beyond us.

I'd go out on a limb and say I am dubious about the stadium happening still. Could be a good thing.

It makes no sense finance wise. Sunderland, Arsenal, Hertha Berlin, Marseille, Schalke all of a sudden don't have a right to compete because of a big stadium.

West Ham is probably the only recent move i can think of that can be considered a 'sucess' and that is pretty much dubious.

Everton's fan demographic is one of poorest in the country, it is accepted that there will be a small increase in ticket prices upon a new stadium an extra 10 thousand seats will not makeup anywhere near the cost of it.

A big USM naming rights deal, extra sponsorship's and corp seating etc etc won't makeup for the hundreds of millions needed to finance the project.

Why is it at only ten thousand extra seats? Liverpool will not be a world heritage site by the time it is 'built'.

Another thing I have to say is, why would we even want a new stadium when we have a bottom half team on the field.

HAVING a stadium means are finances will be decimated, look at Tottenham they will not have any money for the next decade. They where told they had to move to compete, now Kane is having to be sold to pay off debt.

Do we really want to put ourselves in this position with a dof who can't operate shrewdly?

We seen pretty much what goodison is like without fans, a new stadium could be similar for few years.

Who is to say we won't do a Newcastle and go down.

Pretty much the stadium talk is the only saving grace from stopping Moshiri from being under extreme pressure. I wouldn't say the pressure would be enough where people to cause him to be forced out or protests though.
Total rubbish ,made up for the sake of a non relevant argument.Because one team does any certain thing does not mean that we will but that is common sense ,something you probably don't have .It is supposed supporters like you that the club should be ridding itself of as much as the players .

That "Everton" fan is certainly dubious. Signs up a few days ago and posts nothing but the stadium not happening, the owners are skint, Usmanov is a rapist and Everton will struggle under FFP.

Not suspicious at all @Efcjake lol

Well if you was such a big Everton fan you would know Usmanov only sold his stake in Arsenal not long before he held a meeting with Ancelotti and he became our new mananger, same way he has reportedly spoken to Abramovich about Benitez.

What happened prior to Ancelotti Usmanov had little to no reported involvement in.

Makes its sense, but if the stadium's name is USM stadium or something generic USM abbreviated c-rap then it's gonna suck serious balls.

Usmanov sold his shares in pretty much in 2017. It wasn't ratified until 2018 due to the legal process and drafting up contracts.

The usmanov conspiracy has been going on since day one anyway.

Moshiri is skint you said lad

Yet he's spent near £500 million on transfers and pushing ahead with another £500 million stadium.

Yeah just a conspiracy...

He is not skint. He is Skint in comparison to Nice's owner.

He is skint in comparison to other serious football owners.

We do not have the money to make a hash of a stadium.

Also take away player sales and TV revenue the transfer kitty is not much more than likes of Villa really.
