Looked like the tan was fading a bit as well so mustn't be getting on the sunbed as often - must actually be having to put some hours in at the office for a change.

Either that or Moshiri's first task was to remove the sun bed from Bills office.

Anyways i digress - I may have missed it but do we have a list of key dates for our commercial deals, obviously these will be high on the agenda for Moshiri so wonder when there would be movement.

In terms of hearing from him - if he is coming the game on Saturday which is rumoured, i reckon we might have a release before then

Chang deal finishes end of next season £16 million over 3 years.

Kitbag, May 2019, £3 million a year

Umbro finishes May 2019, no figures offered by Everton

Detail of commercial deals from The Esk yesterday.

Ah brill didn't see that - i stayed clear after a couple of the threads descended into madness!

So shirt sponsorship is the first on the agenda - would expect Moshiri would be pushing the new commercial team to be looking for the best deal around - looking into different markets etc. Wonder if the would look to buy out any deals - like the mental kitbag one.

So many questions so little time hahaha.

Stuck with Kitbag and Umbro deals for too long there for me. Are we able to pay some release and get out with these sponsorship types?
You would think that new owner will look every business deal from different perspective and will probs act if thinks theyre not satisfying. Our man has serious contacts and we'll defo see new partners in coming years

There's a couple of issues with cancelling the existing contracts, (i) of a legal nature - when are the break clauses and what are the costs? and (ii) much more difficult to solve quickly is getting the right personnel, premises and infra-structure to bring retailing back in house.

One of the reasons for having outsourced retail was that the club did not have the management expertise to do it in-house, that's still certainly the case.

It maybe that the existing kit deal is allowed to continue for next season - it depends on how aggressive he wants to be and what his priorities are.

How was it ran previously then @The Esk, forgive my ignorance there - did we outsource it previously or did we have the capability then?

To be honest mate, the kitbag deal was the last one I was thinking about. Don't expect a massive retail outsourcing to be brought back internally any time soon.

The Umbro and Chang deals I am sure will be improved upon with Mr Moshiri's arrival and contacts. We are probably talking about multi millions we could raise from next season from these two areas alone. So there would be break clauses in all contracts of these types? It would make sense.
