When the hell are we going to have “a good season on the pitch”? Last season wasn’t one by the way, we haven’t had one since Moshiri came in either.

Ultimately thats down to recruitment.

If Walsh and Brands did their jobs instead of signing bums like Klaassan, Bolasie, Sandro, Rooney (hi Bill) Gomes, Delph & Gbamin we wouldn't be in this mess.

Don't be a child, things aren't just black and white. Are we having a miserable time now, yes it's awful - 12 months ago we were doing alright weren't we? This fickle flip flopping helps no one.

He's put his money where his mouth is and we are continuing to spend now even though we haven't got a pot to pee in with regard to the PL's spending laws. That means he will have to come up with an elaborate deal to circumvent the penalties. One day you may get the owner you want safe pair of hands, doesn't do anything risky - probably won't spend a lot as what's the point we are never keeping up with the top 6/7 clubs in the country. I'd rather shoot for the moon and blow up than be happy with mid table. It's clear we are in a consolidation period at the moment let's see what happens afterwards.

Some of these fans wont be happy until the werlds greatest Evertonian Kenwright is back at the helm with dodgy planet hollywood businessmen like Robert Earle sitting on stakes in the club not investing a penny with loans from shamed billionaires like Green.

Short memories some of our fans have.

lol lol lol

Oh wow yes I feel so much better now. Thank god we can trust him to come up with an elaborate deal to circumvent the penalties.

What do you want him to do? He's tried an array of different types of manager, he has mostly fired them when we've kicked up fuss. No one person makes the right decisions all the time and there is alot to be disgruntled about. Want to drive him out though is a different thing altogether. With Everton it's always a bunch of what if's, had we kept Zouma and Gana perhaps we would have kicked on, if Ancelotti had stayed one more season we might have been okay. Moshiri didn't court any of that to happen.

Swansea got new owners and they went down, Villa the same, Newcastle might have that happen to them this season. Can't say this for Newcastle yet but none have back the club so much to try and make it work and we can go through owners like we go through managers and it still won't make a difference.

Not one of those players started yesterday

Ultimately we are where we are because of those pair though.

Selling Lukaku and not replacing him
Selling Gana and not replacing him
Selling Stones and not replacing him

Moshiri has made mistakes but you cant do what we have done and then blame the owner when the resulting squad isn't good enough.

I’d like him to keep his beak out and stop interfering with football matters and overruling the football men

People castigating me for years for criticising the carpet bagger are now falling out with him for backing his manager.

You have to laugh really. lol

Its a distraction and has been since day 1. We should be doing everything possible to stay at Goodison
It's not that and tbh Goodison has seen better days (not saying it can't be rebuilt) but I just don't like the design of BMD, but at the moment I agree it's a distraction and if it wasn't for it I think it would be 'Moshiri Out' banners you would see along side the Benitez ones.

Goes beyond just the manager Dave

We’ll be happy if he actually had common sense and got rid of Kenwright all together and employed people who know the game

Our recruitment has been shambolic. If spending far less makes it better then that's what is needed. Spending lots of money on utter tosh is not backing managers. Its called being incompetent.

So we spend less money but end up 10th you'll be happy as at least we aren't wasting it? It's not your money Tim and he's not loading the club with extra debt - so I don't see the point.

Besides look at all our transfers for the last few seasons, we've spent fairly reasonably and mostly on younger players compared to the array of 30 milion and couple of 40 million purchases we had prior to that. So isn't that what you want anyhow?

This stadium isn’t going to be some big game changer like some think it’s going to be either, if anything it’ll hamper us even more for a few seasons as shown by arsenal with the emirates

The stadium won't instantly turn around our fortunes and make players swarm to the club but it won't be the millstone around the neck that the Emirates was to Arsenal and most importantly it makes more attractive to potential new investors, everyone who wants Moshiri out should see this as a big positive in my book.
