I've done some for forensic analysis of the Moshiri message and have found it says 'Martinez out sniff it Davek'.

Make of that what you will.

I think there's a more important message in there mate.....

"I am delighted to join you here today at Goodison Park for my first match as a shareholder in Everton. "I also felt it fitting that my first message was in the matchday programme, with Everton being the first ever club to regularly produce one for home games. "Indeed it is this strong sense of tradition which appealed to me as I discussed the opportunity with Bill Kenwright to become part of the future of the club. "It is a testament to the enduring quality and consistency of the club that Everton has remained in he top flight of English football since 1954.

I
n more recent times this has been achieved under the stewardship of Bill, Robert Elstone and all the team behind the scenes at the club. "I am here to support them as required to ensure that the club recaptures the glory days of the past and builds sustained success in the future. "I know a lot of you want to know what my plans are. There is much to be done and things for me to learn, but I can confirm that I have committed to providing additional funds for transfers and retaining our key players to ensure that we have a strong ore to build on for the future. We will also be looking at the best options in relation to our stadium.

Goodison Park has served the club extremely well but we need to make sure the club has a suitable stage to perform on for the future. We will review the best options and how to finance, especially as it is likely to cost a little more than the £3,000 it apparently did back in 1892.

Finally, and most impo
rtantly, Everton is about great football and wining matches. Good luck to Roberto and the boys against Chelsea today.

interesting observation from Mo there...

He's made his cash keeping the books for an oligarch who was up to his elbows in corruption and much much more.

I wouldn't genuflect too much.

No offence mate but you know as much about this as me. Absolute zero.

As I said, I like what I'm hearing. Obviously doesn't mean he will definitely deliver. But I've had enough of being led by those content to see us floundering in mediocrity or worse.

And mate if your trying to suggest he's made 1.5 billion from ''keeping the books'' then as someone who is currently a trainee accountant, you really need to let me know where this practice was. I'll be having a bit of that lol

Good first message for me. Not up there with the Man City blokes I read yesterday, but a good start.
Long term, we need a change to the majority of 51.1% still there that offer nothing and I hope he brings other wealthy and ambitious investors to join him.
Elstone? Go away please...

... allegedly dave, allegedly.

If you die in suspicious circumstances I promise to attend your funeral.

We'll have a whip round for a wreath, if we don't get much cash I'll nick some flowers from another cortege.

You'll be missed by many mate.

... whoever many is.
I've locked horns with Putin and Mossad on here. A bag carrier for Usmanov doesn't trouble me too much.

Wrong time wrong place mate. You needed to be in the Former Soviet Union in the 90s - the period when *ahem* "entrepreneurs" like Usmanov and Abramovic were *ahem* "creating" loads of value from *ahem* "liberated state assets", aided and abetted by *ahem* "security consultants" from Spetsnaz and other *ahem* "market oriented" gentlemen from Mother Russia's military machine.

Don't know what some fans wanted or expected. Spoke a lot of sense and reassured me (not that I needed reassurance) with his comments. Firstly he will invest in the squad, he will look to retain our best players and he will examine our options with regards to our stadium. What is there not to like with any of that. COYB make his first game memorable tomorrow.
