Call me naive, but when you have sponsors offering more to put their name on your shirt and you chose the lesser option, how does it matter if he has a wealthy shareholder now at the club?
So there was an alternative to Chang, I honestly didn't know or have I misunderstood.
What I mean is given that there is someone with financial clout behind the club, that must improve his bargaining position.
Fact is I haven't got a clue if he'll be here long term and was just thinking out loud so to speak.

Pretty sure I heard something about epson?

Yes that was the word a while back. Chose to "stay loyal" or something with Chang instead of taking the more money.

Oh right. I must admit the whole Chang thing struck me as being an easy, lazy option.
I mean, if @KUEFC09U2 is right and it was Epson, they're not likely to go bust amd EFC turning down more money from anywhere smacks of insanity ffs. Elstone out!!!

No but it's the same thing isn't it?, Moshiri will have to give Elstone time and if and when he notices he isn't up to it then he goes, he isn't just going to sack him based on the thoughts of some of the fan base

Not sure he will have to give him time.

A gcse business studies student and not a very bright one could look through elstones commercial performance over last number of years and form a reasonable evaluation. The information is there, not sure why he'd give suntan a fresh start.

Hopefully he starts clearing the decks asap.

Looks like status quo for the time being it will be.

How are you feeling about Mr Moshiri right now mate? Interested in your thoughts as a long time Evertonian, seeing as you are still up :)

The night is yet young in Chez Khalekan, Kith ;)

Re Mr. Moshiri, I was advocating cautious optimism when the news broke.....now I am full on with the noveau regime and irrational exuberance is my current state of mind.

Who knows what will happen in the future.....but it looks so bright at the moment we need to wear shades....:)

Have to admit I have had a good feeling about him from the first day he was announced.

I think it will be a good couple of seasons, as mentioned earlier by the esteemed @Woolly Blue, until we start to see the "fruits of his labour" on and off the field really coming to the fore, but by then I expect plans and maybe even the famous "shovel in the ground" at WHP or another venue (as unfortunately I don't think with Bill staying he will consider a Goodison redevelopment).

But as Woolly said, we have been burnt many times before with words, so let's see :)
