I think that's the state of play mate.

Whatever, league form needs to improve. Everybody knows that.

In the summer we'll have money and even if we win the FA Cup this year I do think that RM is going to be given very specific targets that he has to meet. If not he will be gone.

But people thinking Moshiri is gonna come straight in and make any huge calls are deluded.
Yeah, I broadly agree, apart from the overemphasis on the rest of the PL season. Obviously a slide down the table wont be good, but BK is still very much in control of the football side of the organisation and he's not going to sack Martinez almost regardless of PL form. And I think Moshiri's attitude to that will be: "your call Bill. He's wasted no time and money of mine at the moment". But that situation and attitude changes when that cash (if that cash) is made available in any meaningful way. The dynamic shifts away from BK and toward Moshiri. Let's face it, from all he's said in his short statement and in his interview, he looks like a bit of a divvy on all matters football - and certainly that's the case with Everton, despite the coaching received. But he'll have advisors whispering alternatives in his ear if it starts off a bit ropey next season.

It's interesting the situation with Martinez and Moshiri. I dont think he's in any position to really unseat Martinez in the short term, as BK is obviously still backing RM in a big way. If money is spent in the summer though and results aren't all that by the autumn, he might start flexing his financial muscle round L4.

good news short term, I don't think anyone can doubt Martinez record on big money transfers?

Kenwright is the most cringeworthy man going. How on Earth did he have control over a Premier League club for so long?

Moshiri on the other hand came across very professional. Said all the right things.

It isn't up to him to be putting Moshiri in a position on the managerial front.

Martinez has massively underachieved for two seasons now, an FA Cup semi final does not change what he has served up in the league. Sherwood got Aston Villa to the final last season, doesn't mean he should have kept his job.

Moshiri ? Looked awkward to me

MAybe he is not used to interviews, tv camera etc which would explain the very quiet nature of his share purchase

Don't care what he looked like - I'm sick of theatrical idiots like Kenwright.

What he said was spot on. Buying into a club rather than taking it over.

He doesn't seem like a rampant egotist like Abramovich etc. which is exactly what I hoped for.
