If Moshiri knows anything it is how to play conflicting interests and parties, operating in his industries in that part of the world it's a key skill.

Would expect him to take more editorial control over his next media content

Exactly this and I'd go so far as to say I hope he does his utmost to swerve some of the cringy self-congratulatory EvertonTV interviews... I hope I never see Darren Griffiths thrusting a microphone under his nose.
For me, he can speak when he's good and ready to and on his terms.
I'd far rather it if he chose to avoid the limelight and just got on with business.
By his own programme note, he knows there will be squad issues to be addressed and a full in-depth review of his own on the stadium question. He hasn't specifically mentioned the commercial side of the club, but you can bet your bottom dollar he'll have that side of things very much on his to-do list.

I think you are right and I also think that is exactly why it was a Bill performance production, stood there with his hand on his shoulder to put him at ease, to let him know it is no big deal, and that it is all part of the game and things to come for him. It was very much in the ilk of the first interview of the young up and coming player with the club captain stood there next to him, taking the lions share of the interview.

All in all a positive impression for me!
very much so

No football ownership expert, but my observations of that video and in general:

Bill seems extremely grateful to have him at Everton (almost to the point of being creepy), that can only be good though.

Bill backtracked a bit when they mentioned Mr. Moshiri's contact with the club pre-sale - was Moshiri a tentative buyer? We will probably never know and it will hopefully never matter. Just hope he's committed now. And I suppose you're going to be a bit tentative making such a big commitment.

Bill praising the manager - which is fair after such a big win - does make me wonder if he is trying to convince Mr. Moshiri that Bobby is the man.

Bill loves the spotlight (nothing new) - we all wanted to hear the new guy speak and Bill wants the microphone...

The way he took control with his interrupting the 'come to me' with his 'cannot takeover a club' plus his face when BK was saying what a manager indicates he knows the score with 'some to spare'!

Can't help but notice that when Bill praises Lennon and then McCarthy, Moshiri gives a nod and a slight smile. When Bill praises Martinez, there's very little reaction - save for a twitch. ;)

That interview was neither here nor there really, Moshiri definitely said the right things but i just wish Bill wasn't so overpowering, hand on Farhads shoulder like he's just pulled a stunner and showing her off to his mates lol.
A little Cringe worthy yes, but I think it shows how excited Bill is. We all know he's a romantic, and put in his shoes if we all felt that passion and put aside any ego, it's not really unusual is it?
