I hope he’s invited back to watch a game at the new stadium and receives a warm round of applause.
The stadium is an amazing achievement and was created from his vision, it will always be his legacy.

Me too bring him out to the center circle then make him do the cross bar challenge.

So we can give him the proper booing he deserves.

He did get the stadium built which is great, but he nearly bankrupted the club and completely lost interest in it towards the end, so I think a round of applause is the last thing he would be receiving if he dared to show his face again.

Did he though? Or was it someone elses money? He proved that he didn't care a lick for this club when he frantically tried to sell us to 777. Is he was bad as Kenwright? Definitely not, but wasn't a friend to this club and should be remembered for his very big part in almost destroying it.
Both him and kenwright are responsible! Kenwright only chose the new owner that would keep him on as chairman not what was best for the club!

Losing interest and having zero money left and no room to manoeuvre within PSR rules even if he did, are two different things.

I'm not including caretaker managers here but Koeman, Allardyce, Silva, Ancelotti, Benitez, Lampard and Dyche, that's seven different managers in the last eight years.

Shocking numbers there for a club that traditionally was never a sacking club. In fact we never even fired the only two managers in our history to actually relegate the club!

Throw in three different directors of football, the FFP problems and related points deductions etc, the slanderous allegations about the fans, hiring three of the most reviled managers in our history in Allardyce, Benitez and Dyche one word just defined the Moshiri era at Everton chaos!

In securing us that new stadium though it means that for all of the above problems, Farhad Moshiri has been our most influential owner since the days of Sir John Moores in the 60's.
