Changed my vote to pleased.

Pleased he's gone
Pleased he didn't sell to 777
P.eased he got the Stadium done

No one will be sad he's gone but I always maintained if he delivered the stadium and didn't relegate us in the progress then that counts as a success. We were always going to go through a sticky patch during any move. Sooner or later we would have faced this regardless.

777 was the biggest risk to his legacy and by luck we got away with it. But saying that it was probably Kenwright that caused that snowball. First he makes a massive deal the day MSP show up to the ground and then after that didn't work, his friends at R&M block the partial sale. Hmmm.

Return to take in a game - Certainly.

Any form of tribute - absolutely not.

I think by the time he shuffles off this Earth we may have a different opinion. If the stadium is indeed a springboard back to where we believe we belong.

The bloke put us in the worst possible situation then wiped his hands

Positive

1) Got the ball rolling on the stadium which is massive….an issue that had to be addressed by someone.

Negative

1) put us in massive debt
2) Tried to sell to a US Ponzi scheme
3) appointed Benitez
4) made us steadily worse 3 relegation battles in last 4 years
5) kept Bullsheet Bill on the board

Probably loads I missed here

Not got one good thing to say about him other than thank god he is gone. Turned a respectable club that everyone was scared to face and proud to support into a complete and utter embarrassment that everyone laughed at with mostly embarrassing managers (present fella included) and continuous relegation battles. He doesn't even get any credit for the Stadium that should have been built years ago. I am not saying problems didn't exist before him because they obviously did but not to the extent this bell managed to reach.

Best Christmas present ever seeing this fools name removed from the club directorship.

Maybe but his reign almost ruined this club and we aren’t out of the woods yet.

I can't argue with that post. I think we will be alright though.

Moshiri was part of a decision making process that made wrong choices so of course there is blame to be apportioned to him. Those decisions in hindsight are easy to say if 'we did this instead', but there was no malevolent thinking that went into those. I'm not as hard on him as I've pondered what would I do in that situation and I have come to conclusion that I would do 85-90% of the big decisions the same, based on the state of play at that time.

It's the calls of he checked out I don't agree with. Even if he had money, we'd have another round of point deductions if we tried to spend our way out of the mire. Him stepping back and trusting the football people to do the job is what he probably should have done to start with.

Many owners in Moshiri's position do take the club to the wall as they are able to asset strip leading up to the event and there's a chance they get x amount of pennies in the pound as a creditor. The fact he didn't shows he did care.
