Pffft!
Revealed: Team behind Everton investor Farhad Moshiri's purchase of Blues shares
Phil Kirkbride
The pain-staking lengths Farhad Moshiri took to ensure his Everton investment have been revealed.
Iranian billionaire Moshiri completed his purchase of 49.9% of club shares last week after the move was ratified by the Premier League.
The 60-year-old hired a team of specialist sports lawyers to help him complete the deal which sees him become the largest shareholder at Goodison.
Moshiri used The Sports Group at law firm Charles Russell Speechlys who helped the businessman perform a “new, more tailored, approach to investments in sport”.
Traditionally, investors or businessmen looking to buy into a football club, would use the same law firm and group of accountants but Moshiri cherry-picked experts in various fields to work for him.

Everton's new majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri steps foot inside Goodison Park for the first time
Ian Lynam, Joint Head of the Sports Group, said: “The Everton deal is a great example of a new, more tailored, approach to investments in sport.
“The Buyer went beyond the traditional industry agnostic M&A approach in assembling a team of specialists to advise on his investment in the football club.
“The team also included the sports team at PricewaterhouseCoopers, who worked on financial and tax due diligence, and 21st Club, who were responsible for football analytics. The approach produced a great result.”
The same firm last week also helped a takeover at Bolton Wanderers go through.
Dont forget we will offload a lot of players this summer. We "may" have to have 3 or more categories of player in the wage budget and of course the lukaku level at the top we could pay £150k a week no problem.
The only worry is other players agents then asking for rises as well BUT i think common sense would prevail as they would know lukalu and barkley etc are on another level...
I think up to 9 players may be off myself and thats a lot of wages...for new and existing contracts.
I wonder if we may just give Lukaku a lump sum instead or a lump sum every 12months...
Mate, dont embarrass yourself. Up until 2009 I was one of Moyes biggest fans. If the archives go far back enough on GOT then that'll be borne out by my posts. I gave Moyes credit at every turn and I did so for 7 seasons before I finally broke that loyalty. Enough was enough after that 2009 team was voluntarily broken up by him in order to save the club cash in a fire sale. He stood by and let it happen. And the football was utter gash.I bet your ass you just like all Evertonians when Moyes took us over you were loving it. And seen him as a savior.
Actually there's no way I can see you admitting that.
You'll probably say something ludicrous that will irritate me. Best leave it.
You really are nuts! Thank God you don't work in our finance dept..

Interesting anti-Kroenke slant that maybe feeds into the Moshiri exit from Arsenal (reading between the lines, that is). Basically, Stan the Man is an absentee landlord who looks to a anoverly cautious and conservative business model for football and it's becoming a dead hand on the Gunners' ambitions.
Come on then Usmanov!

Sorry, I dont fit into your little stereotype mate. It's a bit more complex than that and involves a lot of consistency and loyalty. Before I lose it with a manager they have to be given a big shot to get it right first.
Hahaha
Not shutting down anything mate, I just prefer to deal with facts than supposition.
Besides there is nothing Owen can bring to Everton that we couldn't get from more contemporary figures.
