He is going to like Martinez isn't he?
Sounds like he will have Wenger/Ferguson as the benchmark and give Martinez a good chance. Martinez deserves credit for attracting Moshiri.

Hopefully The Mush can swing us one of those City-type Etihad airways sponsorship deals, whereby our man pumps a hundred million from his Russian comms company or internet/metal business into the club's coffers swelling the possible wage bill.
I agree with your point about the ground shifting on FFP though - UEFA look like might have more important matters to worry about, what with the corruption scandal and the challenge from Europe's financial elite clubs and the circus act they threaten to get off the ground.

Dont know mate. Maybe keep the wage discipline and and offer him a big loyalty bonus for staying another year or so and backload it to then. I think tiering of wages within a team is and always was there, but if you get one going off into the stratosphere like Lukaku on £150k and Barkley on £100k it might cause a bit more resentment than if the star men are on £30k-£40k more pw.Dont forget we will offload a lot of players this summer. We "may" have to have 3 or more categories of player in the wage budget and of course the lukaku level at the top we could pay £150k a week no problem.
The only worry is other players agents then asking for rises as well BUT i think common sense would prevail as they would know lukalu and barkley etc are on another level...
I think up to 9 players may be off myself and thats a lot of wages...for new and existing contracts.
I wonder if we may just give Lukaku a lump sum instead or a lump sum every 12months...
I can imagine a Gazprom Arena in the north end of Liverpool in the next half decade.I was going down these lines, but wondered how much benefit the companies he has (from the portfolio i have seen) would get from us if they are Russian only businesses i.e. MegaFon.
I would hazard a guess he will open more doors to us though in the business world then bloody suntan Bob will.

Doesnt he also have a stake in a steel company?
They could actually be the sponsor for big money and we use them for the stadium.
Not processed at Companies House as yet.Moshiri must be on the board already as we need a minimum of 3 directors. I imagine once the money hit Earl's account (likely only after the ratification last week) he was off like a shot.

Especially as the driving force behind FFP has been booted for corruption in Platini mate, seriously think whilst at some point in the future it could come back into force, think for the time being it won't have any real teeth (at least in any major league)
