Id say with Elstone being put on the board it means he wont be CEO anymore...i think its a smart move... keeps Bill happy for now and removes Elstones power, as Director he wont be involved in the day to day running of the club as much, and thats what people wanted right?

Lets bring in a new CEO who can do proper business for us!

Speak for yourself. I wanted Elstone punted off a bridge leaving him with nothing to do with the club ever again.

Elstone is saying CEO, the change is he is now a director of the Company. No great change to be honest as he's been a board member for some time.

Ryazantsev has been a reasonably senior banker in his past life, no doubt has worked on other Moshiri transactions previously.

Suggests to me there's going to be quite a lot of corporate restructuring to be done at Everton, no doubt including debt or possibly some bond financing relating to the Capex requirements of a new stadium or a redeveloped stadium. This has to be a positive, we've been desperately short of a good finance man/woman at Everton for many a year.

It's going to be interesting times ahead. Mr Moshiri is ringing the changes.

Hmmm interesting developments. I would guess this points to Elstone stepping down as CEO and someone new being appointed. No idea who Alexander Ryazantsev is though, and what that means for Moshiri.

Maybe not as @The Esk says above!

This news on top of that interview for me confirms what I feared would be the case once it was announced Moshiri only bought 49%, that Kenwright still holds big influence in the day to day running of the club.

We'll never get rid of the leech.
