Perhaps a Freudian slip from Moshiri.

There’s 4 possible options.

1. It’s actually Usmanov’s decision and Moshiri accidentally revealed that.

2. It’s Kenwright’s decision

3. It’s Thelwell’s decision, not likely considering the meddling that went on with Walsh and Brands, why change with Thelwell.

4. He’s chatting nonsense because he couldn’t care less and just doesn’t want to answer the question.

We can draw our own conclusions.
There is a 5th, although extremely unlikely - the manager could resign.

The manager signed a contract and is entitled to stay as long as he likes. That’s how any football club in the world works. Don’t peddle this narrative that Lampard should choose to resign, puts all the blame on him and not the shambolic board that gave him the contract to begin with.

I am not in any way suggesting he should resign. I am just saying it is an option in this situation that would mean it's not Moshiri's decision. I don't believe for a second it will happen.

Number 1 is quite likely imo. I remember a Guardian article published last week which said that a number of managerial candidates for Everton have said that they got the impression that Usmanov rather than Moshiri owned the club.

Or he can’t afford to sack him and hope it can be some kind of mutual agreement, with a deferred payment.

Moshiri is absolutely backwards you know. I know we all accepted from day one that he was a bit eccentric but WTAF is wrong with him? How does anyone get through life being as stupid as this moron is........
Being stupid is no barrier to becoming a member of parliament in this country, or, on the other side of the world, becoming president of the United States.
