Yet in the last round of interviews, we were down to Lampard and Pereira? I have a feeling that the fiasco behind the scenes and lack of finances is well known.
And it seemed common knowledge moshiri wanted Pereira but was out voted there was even rumours last season moshiri was going to sack lampard

Maybe, just maybe, the decision to remove Lampard is less to do with Usmanov and more to do with the DoF and the wider board now working together.

In some ways, this would actually what we've thrived for rather than his meddling without experience. Anyway, I probably do think it's more to do with Usmanov.

Did you not see our last shortlist.

Blame the board for the lack of imagination. Not saying Watford are the blueprint, (they are as badly run as we are) but they are the very definition of a temperamental yo yo club and still manage to attract a wide spectrum of potential managers. We have poor shortlists because the board lack any actual football knowledge and connections.

It's been reported that he clarified the comment later to say that he takes decisions in conjunction with the board of directors.
With over 90% control I’d imagine very few of the board would be in disagreement, just a bunch of nodding dogs. If any of them had any decency, morals or love for the club they’d resign.

What he’s doing is shifting the blame again, he blamed us and now he’s effectively saying, I only did what the board said.

I dont care who he blames as long as we get a new manager in to breathe some life and belief into this squad.

would like to see moshiris lips moving when giving the clarification - I cant believe anything him and the other frauds do or say anymore.
It was a throwaway line to a reporter who ambushed him.

He's in the country to get a new manager sorted.

For him to come here when he's been implicated with Usmanov is a risk in itself...because the last thing he wants is further attention on himself.

Agreed, the man wants to stay as far away from the UK as possible, let alone this club where everybody is protesting him and his board. He’s been content to stay away for this long, he’d only be coming back for something serious right now.

Personally I think there will be more than just a manager sacking but that may be wishful thinking.

Absolutely he’s not here for no other reason to get rid and bring someone in,
