Ask City that too then. But why? Something that fits about 2000 would be plenty imo, what's the point building bigger?

It'll be something like citys academy stadium maybe...but better ofcourse
Ask City that too then.
We can do something similar. I think if we are bothering to do it then do it proper one time.City have but the stadium and then play a lot of games behind closed doors in it........bizarre.
Could also be the home for Everton Ladies, which would give them a boost.
Great thinking. So many possibilities if we do it right.Could also be the home for Everton Ladies, which would give them a boost.
Why isn't it all its cracked up to be?, have been there myself and it is an excellent place, with many players etc commenting how good it is, and again why wouldn't they want people to watch the U21's?It won't mate, not even close, we probably don't even have the space there for it and we certainly wouldn't want people coming in watching u21 games so I am not expecting anything ott, just something that allows us to play u21 games there.
I have posted in the past, and been criticised for it, but Finch farm is not all it's cracked up to be. It's a good facility but not even top 10 in this country.
I expect we will see a lot of upgrades there over the next few years.

Maybe things are about to change.i think you'll have small band of fans, like us on here, who would want to watch them but how many take an interest in our youth sides really.
Was anyone interested that we played a weakened team last day of the season in a game we only had to win to win the league and lost, no one batted an eye lid, no one even knew the game was going on because generally, no one is too bothered about the younger teams. They have an interest in players maybe but actually getting off their arse and going on, not many do. My post was more about Everton though, not the fans. Everton really don't want you there hence the very little communication we get form them.
With regards to Finch Farm, you may think it's an excellent place but how many other training grounds have you been. for example, have you seen the likes of Spurs, City, United, Arsenal, Chelsea that completely blow us out the water and are on a different planet. Whilst clubs like West Brom, Villa and Huddersfield have better facilities than us and that is without thinking about it too hard at all.
It's all well and good been a nice place, but poor gym facilities, poor changing facilities, poor/none spectator facilities, not one full size indoor pitch (city have 3 and then a few smaller ones also), a lack of outside floodlit pitches are just basics that are generally now taken as standard that we don't have.

always thought we had an indoor pitch to be fair, but fair pointi think you'll have small band of fans, like us on here, who would want to watch them but how many take an interest in our youth sides really.
